Vikings Leaders In NFL Stats

Despite missing three full games due to injury, running back Dalvin Cook came within 14 yards (1,473) of topping NFL rushing leader, the Saints Alvin Kamera (1,486); however, Cook led the league in average (6.1), touchdowns (18), and yards after contact (445).

Rookie receiver Kadarius Toney finished the year with the lead in yards (1,423) and yards per game (88.9) *due to him only playing three games, I did not count the Lions Kenny Golladay, who had 92.7*

Defense end Danielle Hunter tied for the league leader in sacks (15.5) with the Patriots Bud Dupree.

While not an official stat, rookie kicker Brandon Ruiz finished with a whopping 87 touchbacks on 94 kickoffs. This was double the next closest, who was Harrison Butker of the Chiefs (43 touchbacks on 98 kickoffs.)

You guys didn't make the playoffs but there was a lot of positives, the obvious one being Dalvin Cook. I think next year will look good for the purple people eaters.

Tough break missing the playoffs, but you've got a pretty solid setup for the future with Lawrence, Cook, Toney, and Jefferson. Looking forward to the offseason.

Man, it was heartbreaking to be that close. It was my fault. I deviated from the plan I had by feeding Cook and decided to throw it. Before I even pressed the button, I knew it was a bad throw.

I hope so. I am working on limiting turnovers because I just LOVE the presents I give the opposing team with all the interceptions I throw.

I am planning on focusing on the offensive line, since I feel that we are set everywhere else on offense, and than just piling up young defenders in the Draft.

Lawrence, Cook, Toney, and Jefferson are the future for me. I will say Smith Jr. will likely get the start at tight end next year, but Rudolph had such a good year, I do not want to eliminate him.

Re: "Sound the Gjallarhorn" - A Minnesota Vikings Franchise

Before I move forward with the playoffs and offseason, I would like some feedback on the reporting aspect.

I honestly have not taken as much time as I would like in the Game Day reporting, but I keep putting myself in positions where I just want to keep playing, so I will backlog myself in games, so than I feel the need to pump out a bunch of posts in a row to get caught up. I may slow down so that I can put more time into actually talking about the games, unless you guys think it is fine the way it is.

But, in general, are there things you guys would like to see more of?

Or, is there something you would like to see that I have not done yet?

Is there something you guys would eliminate?

If you guys could leave me some feedback so I can make this more enjoyable for you guys, I would appreciate it.

I just did the same thing in an OT game in my Falcons CFM. Hopefully we both learn from it.
