I'll be rather disappointed if the PS4 can only handle ~5 jerseys per team. Lost out on a really nice addition the Braves made last year for some reason.

Also, to the people saying we don't normally get info this early, am I mistaken in saying we had the fact sheet by this time, and gameplay videos around this time as well? Looks like it'll be mid February this time around.

I think that last year the fact sheet was released literally right around this time. It feels like we still had some information to go on before then last year, but I think that the lack of a presence at CES is the only major difference so far. It's a little behind where it was last year, but not too far.*

*When you don't count the videos, news, and whatnot that came out at CES.



As for uniform slots, I hope that they are increased at least a little. The extra variety would help spice things up over 162 games x multiple years.

As for uniform slots, I hope that they are increased at least a little. The extra variety would help spice things up over 162 games x multiple years.

So how many extra slots do you think the PS4 version will have? I remember hearing someone on here said that either the PS4 or PS4 disc can store 32X as much info as its predecessor. So if there were 10 slots in the PS3 game, we could have as many as...320?

These are things that we wont know about until SCEA starts showing their hand. I hope that they increase the number of slots, but I highly doubt that we'll see 320 slots or anywhere near having every single current and historical uniform in game. They still have to go through MLB Cooperstown Collection for the throwback if I remember right, and the Style Guide has not gone away at all.

I honestly have no idea. That's something that really only the development team could tell us. I highly doubt 320 slots will be made available. That seems excessive haha. I'd hope for at least 2 or 4 more, but it's definitely at the bottom of the list of things I'd like to see improved.

I'd much rather see the team jersey when editing a player for equipment color purposes (making sure that the colors don't look ridiculous together), see the name and number in the baserunning window, and have players wear their team jerseys at the All-Star Game instead of the generics. Those are the kinds of improvements that I would figure will be implemented during the console generation jump. Extra uniform slots would be nice but not as nice as these.

Though to be honest I would buy '13 with updated graphics and animations for the PS4 and not a single other fix and/or addition and probably not complain.

How about historic teams? Doubt that they'll add that though.

It would...but we'll have to depend on roster makers for that....I'm sure.

Which brings me full circle back to throwback uniforms lol. I enjoy playing as teams from 1984, but not when there's only a handful of teams with uniforms close to that season. And slightly less important, but still would be awesome, but historic parks.

I'd wanna take it one step further and have the year be displayed on the calendar. If I'm playing in an "historic" franchise mode, I want that year on the calendar. Is that a feature we could get in at some point?

All of this is why I'm hoping they make everything customizable. Rosters, jerseys, seasons, drafts, statistics, schedules, divisions, etc.

And of course, all save files work on future iterations.

If they made it possible, the community would create all these things ourselves.

I could just imagine it now, by MLB 2020, I bet we could replay just about any season ever.

Since they've announced transferring saves, is that something that only works from one game to the next? Can saves from MLB 14 be only transferred over to MLB 15?

I would assume so but I could be wrong. The fact that we get to transfer Saves is huge for me. As someone who gets really deep into the Career/Franchise modes only to stop playing them because the new game comes out.

Something i really hope is improved graphics wise is the way jerseys fit, currently they are too baggy, and the sleeves are too long, they also look really stiff.

Also the way the curved brim option looks for caps, it looks really weird from the front view.

I feel like these things are pretty much guarenteed to look better on ps4 though, hopefully at least.
