I like Jason Castro, he has some upside. Kottaras has intriguing pop but idk if he makes enough contact for my liking Lol the rest I see more as backups. I'll probably look into Castro when I get near the deadline Thanks man

I though about Cervelli and Lavarnway but didn't know if they would hit enough for what he wanted? Also thought of Jaso maybe, but only depending on Oakland's situation.

Okay my peeps, I've been playing/simming all night and it's now the all-star break in my D'Backs chise (No I don't play every game yet as this is my second chise for kinda rebuilding). Now with that rebuilding thing said it hasn't exactly worked like that lol. We led the West for the first month and a half, then just when I though we would finally fall off the table in June we won the last 6 games of the month and the first 3 of July for a 9 game win streak. Now at the break we're back at 48-48 6.5GB and I'm not willing to give the future talent to make a run without my 2 top pitchers and what I feel is an incomplete team so here's whats up.


Guys I want to move:

Gerardo Parra, yes I know he's good and I like him but I don't want to pay him after this year due to my self imposed budget and with his performance this year figure I might can sell why he's high.

Brandon McCarthy, Don't really like him, for sure not going to pay him, and there's no possible way his value could get any higher than what it is right now as he is dominating!

I don't have to move them all but at least Parra, McCarthy and at least one of the other starters have to go if not 2 of them.

Out of curiosity, how are Joyce and DeJesus doing for the Rays? I'm running a Rays Franchise, and I think Parra could be a really good fit, especially if the two mentioned above aren't playing too well (and they're in first place). I also believe Parra has a year left on his contract after the 2014 season (IRL), which is something a team such as the Rays like.

Also, I just thought of this... how about Lee to the Blue Jays for 1-2 of their amazing pitching prospects and maybe another two low/mid b's or something?(Lee has 2.50 ERA and has 86K's through 87 IP with about a 1 WHIP, pitching like a boss(please let me know if I'm over valuing as well, all ways unsure lol.

So I Started up a Cubs franchise and I'm looking to get Stanton + Yelich. This is what I have so far for a base:

Castro, Samardzija, Kris Bryant, Jorge Soler, Alberto Almora, Arismendy Alcantara.

So basically Castro, Shark, and 4 of the top 6 Cubbies prospects. Do you guys think this is enough? I really wanna hang onto Baez and Edwards if possible.

He doesn't need Baez in there if he's giving Bryant lol. Unrealistic, but Bryant, Almora, Soler, Alcantara, Johnson, Olt, Vizcaino is fine.

I'm back haha. I like the Martinez/C and am going to do it, but is Martinez a High/Mid/Low B? Just curious, guessing he is a Mid B, but they have so many B prospects its hard to tell... lol.

My bad must have completely missed the Toronto part of this lol sorry!


He's pitching great and I'm sure Toronto would love him. Maybe something like Sanchez + Norris/Tirado + Smith/Nay? Not too sure AC is way better with Toronto than I would be just something I could think of to maybe start the talks?

I think the Blue Jays would have to be in contention in order to think about acquiring Cliff Lee. Where are they in the standings ?

Of course, the Blue Jays are a game above .500, only 3 out of the division and 1 from the WC, they're hitting is one of the best in the league but their pitching is 25th, so they'd be a ton interested in Lee IMO.

I forgot to say the stats! Haven't made the trade yet because this will probably change a lot. Darivsh has a 2.83 ERA, then the 4 people in the rotation behind him all have ERA's above 5, guessing this makes them more desperate for Burnett?

Hey AC need your Blue Jays help brother -

The Jays traded for Shelby Miller in my franchise (used a package around Aaron Sanchez I thought was fair to do it in season 1), if the Jays had Miller in real life, would Biddle (Mid-A after a great season 1 in triple A 79 overall) and Utley be enough to get Miller?

I know it's not the best idea since they just traded for Miller last year, but I was curious.
