My question is, would Bundy be enough for Soler and Olt? And from Cubs fans, what would need to be added to Bundy to get Almora. I know it's a lot but I have pitching and would be willing to part with it.

I play as the Cubs and I can't see very many scenarios where I'm trading Castro right now.
Yeah, the Cubs would definitely want pitching for Castro. A deal starts with Syndergaard/Montero, maybe both. How's he doing in your franchise?

Ok, so the Yankees need pitchers. Would the Twins trade Kevin Corriea? and if so for who?

As I mentioned in a previous post, the Dodgers are currently in first place in the National League West. However, they have lost Clayton Kershaw for the remainder of the season with an injury. The Phillies are way out and obvious sellers and I'd like to move either Cliff Lee or Cole Hammels to the Dodgers. What do you guys think about this deal?

          Dodgers receive:
LHP Cliff Lee (contract runs through 2015)
RHP A.J. Burnett (contract expires at the end of 2014)
2B Chase Utley (contract runs through 2015)

          Phillies Receive:

          LHP Julio Urias
          3B Corey Seager
          LF Joc Pederson

            They'd probably just want a younger pitcher in return. A high C if he's pitching well, a mid/low C if he's not.

If the O's offered me Dylan Bundy for Soler and Olt in my franchise I would definitely consider it. However, I would need another pitching prospect in return. Maybe include Mike Wright.

If you're wanting Almora, then I'm not real sure. For me that would have to include probably Bundy and Hunter Harvey.

I'm not disagreeing with that, just saying that's what it would probably take for me to trade Soler in my franchise.

Soler isn't worth anywhere near that.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I agree with both of you re:Bundy but pitching is cheap and potential impact bats are not. If I were looking for Solar only, would Wright/Johnson + E.Rodiquez work? I will play with the Shark/Russell trade happening so the Cubs could use some arms.

                        Spreadsheet value is Mid A + High B + High B + Low B + Low B + High C for all three.

                        Urias + Seager + Pederson + Anderson + Reed + Magill/Windle ?

This completely guts their farm, but they'd arguably be one of the best teams talent-wise in the MLB, even with losing Kershaw to injury.

For Hamels only, it would probably take Urias + Seager + Lee

Realistically, I think the Cubs hold off and trade a guy like Soler for a proven pitcher.

Harvey + a throw in, however, I would strongly consider doing

                            SEA franchise trade opportunity:

On July 1st, SEA is 49-35, in 1st place, and up 1.5 games on TEX, so I'm considering entering "buy" mode to help separate.

                            Context:

Corey Hart and Willie Bloomquist are hurt for 1-2 months and have 40-45 days DL time before they can be reevaluated.

Logan Morrison is D2D, out about a week.

Endy Chavez is hitting .200 at CF/leadoff.

James Jones is hitting .100 at RF/#2

Michael Saunders is hitting .200 at LF/#7-9

Plan: Acquire 1-2 OF bats, and am willing to sacrifice Rodney (1.61 ERA, 29 SV), Iwakuma (3.83 ERA), Zunino (.220 7 HR), Miller (.240 7 HR), Morrison (.284 9 HR) once he's healthy.

                            Targets:

STL: They could use help at SP (Garcia is struggling), RP (have expressed interest in Rodney on trade block), backup C, and UTIL MIF. Holiday and Bourjous are currently on the bench for them (Jay and Taveras start and Grichuck has been called up). Holiday is hitting .183 w/ 2 HR and Bourjos is hitting .291 w/5 HR in split duty w/ Jay, who is hitting .300+.

With two OF rotting on the bench and express interest in my trade block players, this seems like the ideal trade partner for me. What would it take to get Holiday or Bourjos or both with this context? STL is 43-42 and 5.5 games back from CIN.

Harvey+ for Soler seems fair to me, fills a need for both teams.
