Okay, again I've had my eye on Swihart from the Red Sox for quite some time. For my Red Sox friends, what would it take to get him? I've already dealt Samardzija and Hammel to Oakland so they're obviously unavailable. I would be willing to deal Barney for sure, and probably Bonifacio.

As said in page 427, he's not a realistic option. A consensus T5 prospect in a T5 farm system is going to be hard to get. The Sox have no use for Barney, and Bonafacio isn't really the guy we need with Brock Holt being used as our utility man already.

        ATL Sends:
        Ervin Santana

        NYY Sends:
        Kelly Johnson
        Greg Bird(High C pot)
        Gosuke Katoh (C pot)
That deal actually isn't bad value wise, but I don't see the need for Kelly Johnson. That is, unless he's vastly outperforming Chris Johnson. Bird would be blocked at 1st by Freeman, but it's depth.

If you're playing with injuries that happened IRL, I don't think the Braves could afford to part with Santana. That is, if they are contending. If they aren't contending, or if you're not doing the injuries, you could send them prospects.

Bryan Mitchell + Tyler Austin would work.

Agreed, he isn't moving. I do think however Vazquez could be made available in the right deal for an OF (package for Stanton ideally) but that probably won't happen so Lake for Vazquez type of deal I would entertain...believe both are B's? I personally would think that over and try scenarios on a deal to make it happen.

That straight up is a win-win for both sides.

If you want to add a decent innings eater and don't want to deal much to anything, Edwin Jackson is always out there for a C- to C spec. Just a suggestion

What I thought if they were both B's but was unsure if Lake was a C+ or not. A deal I could see myself doing once I hit the deadline.

I agree that Barney's value is far, far less than Swihart, but would a prospect swap be out of the question?

Jorge Soler or Alcantara straight up?

                  A combo of Dan Vogelbach + Candelario/Villanueva?

It's not realistic, and I don't think I'd do it, but would you say that's fair Cam?

Looking to make a CPU/CPU trade heading into July:

The Rockies are out of the NL West by over 20 games, but the Tigers are right in it in the AL Central. Detroit's entire bullpen has been awful, and LaTroy Hawkins has been decent for the Rockies.

While he's got 23 saves and a 3.81 ERA, the advanced metrics say he's doing a lot worse. 2.54 K/9, 5.047 DIPS. What would the Tigers need to give up to get Hawkins?

I like Soler, but not Alcantara. We have enough infield prospects, and not enough outfield prospects.

This trade is EXTREMELY unrealistic. I don't see St. Louis trading Taveres for anyone but Stanton or Price (even Price is a stretch).

Drew Verhagen? Mid C sinkerball pitcher, perfect type of pitcher for Coors.

That's decent. I think he's honestly worth a low C at most though. He's 41, and a down year at that age is not good at all.

Dang. If there would have just been a catcher to draft I wouldn't have had this problem. Ugh.

I'm going to keep looking around for a catcher. For some reason I don't really like Vazquez. Isn't he already 25-years old? That's the thing I liked about Swihart. I was thinking (don't remember for sure) that he was about 21. I'd consider trading Castro for him, but you guys said the Red Sox don't need infielders. So maybe a three-team deal would work.
