The last 2 have pitch edits and re-rated SCEA players. The difference between the Willard and Totte ones are that Totte's rosters have the opening day rosters whereas Willard's were current in real time as of early June. If you play through and make deals, injuries, and roster moves based on when they happened in real life, you'd be best off with Totte's. If you want more current rosters and do not want to do 2 months worth of transactions yourself, go with Willard's. Each has it's own thread in the PS3 roster section that you can read on for more info.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Jays would need cash to be eaten in that deal. So Pompey + Norris + Sanchez + Robson + Romero + Happ for Hamels + Utley is probably the furthest we could go. However, Chase Utley is unwilling to waive his NTC to come to Toronto."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Colon requires a High B, Young a High C, and Murphy a Low B
Headley requires a Mid B/Mid B/High C, Kennedy a Mid B and Low B
What are 2 potential packages the Jays would have to give for these packages...mainly the Mets packageComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
At the Deadline in the second season with Cubs, trying to make a final push, I decided to nix the deal for Stanton I had asked about here before because giving up 3 to 4 of my top guys was too much, however I still feel like I could use a big hitter.I still have all of the Cubs big prospects (Baez, Russell, Almora) except Soler and Villanueva, and Bryant is untouchable as he is raking in the bigs.
My question is would it be realistic to get Mark Trumbo from the DBacks? They are 9 back in the west and 12 back in WC. He's hitting .270 with 34 HRs. I'd like to not trade Baez if possible but just curious if he can be had what would be good for him.Comment

Anyway, to OP's problem, for the Mets:
Colon = Robson + DeJong
Murphy = Pompey + Lugo + Burns.
Young = Robson
Headley = Nolin + DeJong
Kenney = Pompey + Smith Jr + Nay."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

It won't take a top prospect to get Trumbo. He is doing good though so maybe 2 mid B's.

It depends on who is contending for a playoff spot and needs a catcher. Blue Jays come to mind. But they're in the same division.Seattle Mariners|Seattle Seahawks

I'm sorry, but I just don't see a world in which Colon is more valuable than Dan Murphy. Totte, do you want to send me the spreadsheet, or whatever you have of it, and I'll correct the values?

Thanks AC. What could the jays get for Rasmus? Looking for mlb ready players likely OF with contact, RP

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Lol what's the big deal with Glasnow? He's obviously very good but his stock hasn't changed at all. He's still striking guys out and walking an unacceptable amount of guys. Will that change? Probably. I think he'll be very good. But why has his stock changed now? Cause of a low ERA? He still has a 3.56 SIERA. He'll be very good but I have no idea where this rising stock is coming from.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my Marlins franchise, I'm thinking about trying to find some good hitting prospects to trade for (going for fair possibilities over "perfect" realism since this all becomes fantasy after a while) instead of dealing the one should-be-awesome hitter we have (Stanton).
I have a LOT of good-performing pitching prospects in the system with B potential with Feliz climbing to an "A" and some of the others getting those good reports from the Farm Director which mean potential increases. Some of the notables that I'm looking at shopping (I don't think any of these guys are on the spreadsheet that I have):
-SP Adam Conley (AAA, 70/B, 23 years old, 87 Velocity, already near/at MLB quality in HR/9 and H/9).
-SP Anthony Desclafani (just up to MLB, 69/B, 23, plus MLB level velocity and movement, solid at H/9)
-SP Michael Feliz (AAA, flying up the system, 65/A, 20, 91 velocity - hits 98 when I tried him in a MiLB game, 67 K/9, mid 50's in other /9's, has work to do but has done nothing but succeed and potential is at "A" now, part of me doesn't want to deal him as he looks like Guerrieri for me last year, a kid that shot up and never looked back)
-SP Trevor Williams (AA, 63/B with potential increases, 21, solid pitches, 60/76/63 pitch ratings, 57 H/9)
-SP Jose Urena (AA, 64/B another that's gotten a potential increase, 22, coming out of nowhere, velocity starting to climb into the 80's along with his BB/9 at 60. Still has rough edges, though)
Any thoughts one some young hitting prospects/major leaguers that would be fair, or any idea on how to value these guys in terms of what's on the spreadsheet and then I can do my own work? (I just have no idea how the values are determined)"Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
That was just in addition to what I believed at first. Glasnow has not only risen (which, again, is not my main reason), but he was really good before, and was rated as a low A in OSFM (main reason. Not 100% sure if he is though, so if he's not, I'll agree to the given value). I figured he would be worth at least his own value.Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

[QUOTE=WaitTilNextYear;2046397014]
I'm not a fan. It's sort of rare to see intra-division trade. It's even more rare for big rivals (Red Sox-Yankees, Cubs-Cards, Dodgers-Giants) to do business. And it's microscopically rare for these rivals to deal significant pieces when they do make deals. I could imagine near riots in the bay area if this deal happened. Colletti would have to protect his neck
In response to this. I understand the reasoning. Idk I still feel the giants would accept a solid pitching prospect for a struggling 3rd baseman. Especially since they are gonna have pitching to replace soonComment
