Looking to deal Josh Willingham to the Cubs for Javier Baez. Who else can I add into the deal to make it legit?
Cubs OF could use some help as Junior Lake is hitting around .220. And Willingham is on a hot streak and batting .290

I just need a placeholder in LF till Action Jackson is ready, then I'll move Giancarlo to LF. I'll see what the Phills want for Brown or Byrd. They're 8-17, so they have little to no chance of contending. As for pitching Walker is on the DL with a strained elbow ligiment (). He was 2-3 with a 4.97 ERA before he got hurt

Buxton or Sano is a good starting point

Poor wording on my part, was trying to say that a few others were not saying it was a Dodgers move when i could really see the Dodgers pulling the trigger on it. Haha, not calling out knowledge or anything

Sweet thanks, would Koehler be able to net me a low B or stick with high C?

Assuming you're just going for fair here with this deal? Prospect for prospect deals are rare and hard to put a value on.

Realistic would be Buxton in the deal ahead of Sano as there's no room at either 1B or 3B for Sano with the Cubbies. Realistic would also be not trading for Baez at all but that's another story

I'll let someone else chime in here as well but Sano and Willingham for Baez works out...sure. I'm assuming the Cubs are contending and have a need for Willingham?

If you want to play with Baez, you can do it straight up for Buxton. I think Sano and Buxton are much better but you're pushing the buttons. The Cubs just don't have room for Sano.

Yes, you're overpaying a bit but you're also getting the player you want that other teams would be bidding for.

Why trade Buxton for Baez? Baez is a great prospect but I think Buxton is better. I don't think I would do that trade
