OK, thanks. I agree that given Latos is arb-eligible once more, your package might be an underpay for him and a slight overpay for Cueto (if you include Marrero). Maybe you can get another piece back like a bullpen specialist or a bench bat in addition to Cueto? One of Ludwick, Soto, Broxton, Parra, or Schumaker might be gettable along with Cueto.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Thanks for the help guys, thought I was going to have to wait at least an hour for a response like some threads, this helps now I can make my playoff push. Holding onto that last wild card spot my half game. No way my pitching would hold up without a deal.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Yeah, good fit there. The Reds are stuffed with decent ~30 y/o pen arms that they could part with. Ondrusek, Parra, Broxton, Marshall, LeCure...etc etc..Pretty much anyone but Chapman and Hoover are in your price range here as an add on. What about Jumbo Diaz? lol. They'd love him in Boston--that is, if he made it into OSFM v2.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Just looked at Cueto's stats in real life and he's been nasty. Leading the NL in wins (tied), H/9, and IP with a 2.04 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP. An ERA+ of 179. If only it weren't for Kershaw....Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Some teams out of contention who should sell?
Reds, Cubs, Rockies, D Backs, Giants Padres, phillies, marlins, mets
White sox, Twins, Yankees, Astros
Any of these teams that would be must sell or any guys who would fit nicely on a team I didn't mention?Comment

Padres might give up Cashner.
Phillies should give up everyone.
Yankees would never sell.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I dunno. You might want to look at some of the deals that happened in real life and see if they make sense for your chise or not. It looks like most of the teams that are bad in your chise were also sellers in real life. Other than that, trading veterans from bad teams who would walk in the offseason anyway is always a good strategy.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Yeah I was using both of your strategies to be honest. I wanted to deal Tulo to a big spender. I would love him in Boston but we don't have the prospects in my opinion to get him. And that's the issue with him I don't think I could create a good enough package for Colorado to not say "Well he's locked up maybe we'll be good next year.Comment

Unless I make a stunning move my the Cubs on their way back to relevance lot of young talent there. Desperate franchise could work any deals that would make sense from those teams or am I a little off there?Comment
