Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm not online atm but off the top of my head I know Colon has a 3 ERA and Niese is at like 1.95 and the Mets are out of it. I'll hop on in a bit and see and take a look at some other guys.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my chise the Jays are 35-30 and tied for the lead in the East. However Jose Reyes just tore his MCL and is out for the year, and Encarnacion also just got hurt and is out for a month and a half. Besides these 2 they really haven't gotten any offensive production (especially from the MIF) Would the Jays make a move for a rental SS just to make up for Reyes' absence? I would think it might be a little early to make a move, but they also have dropped a lot in the 2 or 3 weeks that Reyes and Edwin have been hurt.| Brewers | Packers | Angels | Bucks | Badgers |Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Any chance you think they'd think of trading for Brian Dozier in this situation? His #'s are really similar to Reyes on the year.
(Reyes .314/.376/.479 5 HR 24 RBI ) (Dozier .317/.368/.450 2 HR 21 RBI) They could play Izturis or Dozier at SS and then when Reyes comes back Dozier could be the full time 2B| Brewers | Packers | Angels | Bucks | Badgers |Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Mets 'Chise:
3/25 - Traded w/ Giants for Panik. Played against him in Hs.
3/25 - Traded w/ Red Sox for Sizemore.
(Don't remember who I traded, was like two months ago)
4/15 - Traded Colon to Indians for Bauer & Clint Frazier. (I know, Frazier is unrealistic. Oh well)
5/10 - Traded Teagarden to Detroit for Joba Chamberlain
I'm now sitting at 23-24 in late May and Murphy is hitting just .221.
Thinking of possibly dealing Murphy & Gee to the Dodgers for a package centered around Dee Gordon. Guerrero plays at 2nd everyday for them.
Thinking a lineup of:
2B- Gordon
LF- Sizemore
3B- Captain America
1B- Duda
RF- Granderson
C- d Arnaud
CF- Lagares
SS- Flores
Pitching Remains Same:
Harvey
Niese
Wheeler
Bauer

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I know this would probably never happen in a thousand years, but how about:
2 games before the All-Star Break.
Royals Trade (46-39, 1.5 GB of Detroit)
1B Eric Hosmer (83 OVR, A POT, 1 Year/$1 M)
SS Raul Mondesi (62 OVR, A POT, AAA Player)
Yankees Trade (46-38, 0.5 GB of Boston)
1B Mark Teixeira (89 OVR, A POT, 3 Years/$16.3 M)
KC is offering this trade, for what it's worth.
My initial thought was that KC would never do it, but... trying to make that last push? Getting a switch-hitting power bat?
I was going to reject it, but now I might just let the computer decide. If nothing else, it spices up the league a little.Comment
