My idea so far would be:

Brewers get: Wade Miley + Tuffy Gosewisch

DBacks get: Clint Coulter, Johnny Hellweg, Nick Delmonico.

My thinking here is that Delgado will be ready to take over for Miley by the time I do the deal. Thoughts?
Slight overpay value wise for you but you're acquiring a young lefty starter with proven MLB experience so that's valuable itself.

Yankees get: Weeks(to somewhat balance salaries), Morris/Rogers, Jungmann
I'm sure the Yankees would love to get out of Teixeira's contract but they'd onyl deal him if they were something like 15+ games back in the WC race. If that's the case, Weeks wouldn't do them any favors except being an expiring contract.

Hunter Morris is a nice 1B replacement so he'd have to be included. I guess the Yankees would like Jimmy Nelson over Taylor Jungmann as he's closer to the majors and maybe another arm like Ariel Pena instead of Weeks.

Mitch Moreland and Justin Smoak would be a cheaper options for you. Or sign Kendrys Morales?

Might be a little biased being a Tiger fan but I think I'd go Porcello. Still only 25, a solid defense behind him would really boost his numbers.

Another thing that scares me is that Shark has gotten rocked by AL teams...I know it's only 50 innings but he's still got a 6.08 ERA against the AL.

Rangers just re-signed Perez, I don't see them trading him...

On Moreland, Texas would probably want a SP thats close to the majors...

Looking to add a bat in my Rays franchise. Was thinking about Chris Carter of the Astros. He can be my backup 1B and can DH. Who should I give up to get the guy? Thanks.

Astros need pitching so maybe Alex Colome? Nate Karns? Mike Montgomery?

Agree with 37 on Carter. How about Adam Dunn? He'll probably come slightly cheaper

I'd say preseason or if their out of contention they'd probably rather go for porcello but if they have a good shot at making the playoffs shark makes a little more sense

we need starting pitching right now so I think anybody could be in play really....good thing about Porcello would be, we wouldn't have to give up as much as we would for Shark

I was looking for a righty bat so Carter fits the mold. Dunn wouldn't be a bad choice either, but I don't need the lefty.

As the Cubs, I'd imagine you'd want pitching in return? if so, Henry Owens would be a nice package-starter along with somebody like Rubby De La Rosa?

Just from a Red Sox fan standpoint i highly doubt they would deal Owens for Shark...ever. I would look more for a Webster-Lavarnway type deal for the guy. Just me though.

Then back to the A's for Shark or Porcello, what would be two packages for either one? Ynoa, ?, ? for Shark then no clue for Porcello...

Completely understandable haha, I think Webster, Ranaudo, Lavarnway for Shark is plausible if OP wants he could do Barnes instead of Ranaudo but just from a Red Sox stand point i think they would like to hang onto Barnes. Shark is 2 B's and a C if i am remembering correctly so that should be able to factor out even though some people think more highly on Webster than most Sox fans because of his control.
