I hope one day the Show adds a receiving attribute. It's a skill.

You could get Miller+ for Reyes imo.

Also, send Dickey to an NL team for a couple of their top 10 prospects.
I would have to disagree that Dickey warrants "a couple top 10 prospects."

For example I doubt the Dodgers would trade Urias and Withrow for Dickey

I don't mean top 5 prospects lol, I mean top 10. I'd assume the Pirates would deal Kingham/Hanson and Ramirez, the Angels would deal Cron/Cowart + Yarbrough (they're not top 10 in good orgs though lol), the A's would deal Ynoa/Covey + Robertson, or the Mariners would deal Taylor + Hultzen or something. A ~5 and ~10 prospect is fair for Dickey, I think even you with your disdain for Dickey (Dickey disdain?) can agree with that. He's a good pitcher with a ton of upside. But he's not going to return a ~1 and ~5, like Urias or Withrow.

I can see that if it's for a team in contention near the trade deadline. But not at all to a team not in contention or early in the season. Also I would think Dickey would have to be playing good.

If I was a strong team in contention and Dickey was playing well I would trade maybe 2 High Bs for him

          Bit of a stretch.

And no way Rasmus goes anywhere near STL ever again. It also probably wouldn't be fair. Bautista's a fit and you could get another big piece back too if you were so inclined.

Well, the teams I mentioned are all teams that should be in contention at the break. And two high B's is more than the guys I listed, I was looking low B/high C lol.

I know it is, but that's what I would be willing to give up for him given I had a strong team and was in contention.

So Huston Street pretty much sucks. I am gonna keep Torres as a SU but I need a closer. Someone cheap preferably since I don't have a lot to give up.

Here are some names and if none are relatively cheap do you have any in mind? The guys in bold are the main ones I am interested in.

            JJ Hoover
            Rex Brothers
            Cody Allen
            Kelvin Herrera
            Aaron Crow
            Tim Collins
            Louis Coleman
            Ryan Cook
            Jodran Walden
            AJ Ramos
            Drew Storen
            Antonio Bastardo
            Pedro Strop

Also what about a deal with Encarnacion for like Tallion?
I see no reason Pittsburgh wouldn't take that but I'm not sure if you should.

And Bautista can garner far more than that.

As a Cards fan, I would really key in on Lawrie. We would move Carpenter to 2B and let Wong develop more. Wong is still needs to get his hitting up before he can be a true everyday player. We would never take an OF because we will have Holliday, Taveras, Craig right now. We also have several other OF prospects that could fill in or be valuable trade bait.

Lawrie and a prospect for Miller would probably do it in my opinion.

Anyone know what the link to the Trade Spreadsheet is?

I tried the one in Totte's sig but I get an error message. Do I have to be logged in or something?

I'm gonna pass on 24 y/o league average bat with plus defense for a starter with an xFIP over 5 tbh

'Raises hand' I have a question... when PS4 release is out, is this thread closing and a new one opening on the PS4 forums? Cause I'm staying on PS3 and don't want to have to switch back just to access this thread.

Anthony Recker is a good backup cather, decent power + a strong arm

Hi new to this particular thread and I'm looking for some help. I looked around for some possible trade selections but the few players I looked for didn't really have any recommendations.

I am with the Cubs- I want to get rid of Veras, Schierholtz. Jackson, Ruggiano, McDonald, Valbuena, Baker, Villanueva, Fujikawa, and Wada. Any help would be really appreciated

Veras would be a good fit for a contender who is looking to try and make a playoff push... not so much for a rebuilding team. Maybe to the Yanks for a High and low C (at least that's what the spreadsheet says) or to the Angels for about the same.
