This won't mess with my pitch speed slider will it? I like having pitch speed high (at least three notches above default) regardless if I am hitting well or not

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
Yeah this is awesome. Definitely let's you get into a groove that works for you difficulty wise. I think this type of setup should be a standard in all sports games. Just a great concept that actually works!!PC Specs:

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
It also works in RTTS. My hitting was Veteran after playing an exhibition. After RTTS it was Veteran ---.
That's okay, it is like a game within a game. Trying to improve to jack up the difficulty.
Easily, one of the better features in this game.Comment

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
I think it would be great to use in RTTS (and Player Lock, for that matter) because are far fewer factors that influence the progress and difficulty changes. Since you only use one player in RTTS, you don't have the various contact and power ratings that a whole team does, and all of that can influence OPS rises and falls pretty heavily.Comment

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
Dynamic difficulty is just like the Madden IQ setting EA had a few years back. It is truly a great feature.Comment

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
Never tought about using this option, but decided to give it a go today after reading the other thread and im loving it, its like theres someone out there analysing your play and adjusting it on the fly so u get the most realistic results possibles, this is like a huge antidote for the "slideritis" lol
The best thing of it is that it lets u focus 100% on the game and forget about any stats that might be broken and needing slider adjustments.---------------

All sports games need the Dynamic/Madden IQ feature. Having the best most realistic games with it.Comment

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
I love it. I'm usually a rookie guy because the game tends to be too hard at times for me and this is perfect.

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
For those of you who are using Dynamic Difficulty, are you using sliders too, or do you just leave them at default (5)?Comment

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
The only slider I've adjusted is reducing CPU hook tendency because I think the CPU pulls pitchers too quickly...but that doesn't really affect difficulty. I agree with those posting that this difficulty setting reduces the slideritis tendency. I'm surprised the studio didn't make a bigger deal about this feature, especially since it appeals to even casual gamersCheck out my Twitch channel: http://www.twitch.tv/wiser66Comment

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
I have loved this feature...it goes up/down after every inning. If you have a somewhat "normal" inning it won't move up or down in difficulty. I like how it shows you exactly where the difficulty is at the beginning of each inning in the form of a pop-up box at the top of the screen. The game will always keep you aware of how the difficulty is changing as you goIf you want to use it through a franchise/season, I'd suggest using Spring Training to get your difficulty level up to where it should be, so that it's relatively challenging by the time you hit Opening Day. It's true that streaks and slumps might affect the difficulty level at various times in the season (that's my one main hangup with the mode), but it shouldn't be shifting every other game once you find a good, challenging level.
To get up to where you should be during Spring, just go nuts with the power swing when you're going through rookie to Vet. The PCI is huge on those levels even on power swings and you'll be knocking the ball all over the yard and raising OPS enough to advance in difficulty very quickly. Once you hit all star I'd suggest going to the normal swing more, as you'll need to hit for average more than power as the PCI is smaller and CPU won't just throw you cookies.
Also, remember that the "Progress: +'s or -'s that you see ISN'T the difficulty level changing, it's only an indicator of progress towards the next level change. I see a lot of posts about people saying it's shifting every inning, but that's absolutely not the case unless you have a monster inning (and even then, it can only shift once a game, max)
According to Bcruise difficulty doesn't go up every inning. But your meter to get to the next level express as +++s is calculated every inning If you get to the next level during a game it can only go up once. Once it levels up during a game all progress is stopped for the rest of that game.Madden 17

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
Before using DD i have been playing MLBTS for over 6 years aways at Veteran/All-star with a thousand sliders adjustments but never really enjoyed the game as i was aways looking for that fine tunning and in the end i would end up fixing something but breaking another aspect of the game...
Now that i know the AI is taking care of the difficulty and adjusting it according to my performance i can finally just focus on playing baseball, seriously this is the biggest feature for me since 07, and stupid me, only to find that out now(since its in the game for a while now).

Re: Dynamic Difficulty?
So far I am loving dynamic difficulty but I do have one question. Is there a way to see my current level outside of a game? For example every inning it tells me my progress but will is there somewhere I can check to view my progress after games?Comment
