Are all instant replays still in slow motion this year?Comment

The running ones I saw at the event were. If I recall correctly from the stream the other night, I thought some of the pitch replays were done in real time.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Hopefully real time is in this year.
Not only would I love to see some real time replays, but I'd also like to see some with the original sound from the play too! Especially on big home runs and strikeouts where the crowd goes nuts!
All the replays last year and before I think were all slowed down and muted, aside from commentary (unless I'm mistaken which is definitely possible).Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show (Community Day Gameplay Q&A Thread)
^ Well The Show has always done slow-motion replays, but coincidentally (unless they actually took my advice), the year I suggested they retain the background/commentary noise during slow-motion replays and not play slowed down sound, they actually implemented that. This is authentic to real life broadcasts.
However, I also suggested they include real speed replays, just as you suggested... and in those replays, the sound from the replay should be included. Don't think that is in this year though.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show (Community Day Gameplay Q&A Thread)
Has anything been done to balance the speed of outfielders vs baserunner's or ball physics, so we see more doubles on hits down the line/corners?
I know outfielder routes have been adjusted but I remember this happening a few years ago as well but it didn't seem to have much effect.Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show (Community Day Gameplay Q&A Thread)
So your saying not to expect any improvement this year?
Scea should take a look at PYS (well I'm sure they already have). That part of their game is about as good as it can get.
Maybe possibly add a slight speed burst like they have in their game by tapping the two shoulder buttons to mimic a runner's extra burst of speed he gives on those type of hits. Just a a thought.Comment

The fact sheet also hasn't mentioned anything about separation between dirt and grass, which is why the ball maintains speed down the line because of that first hop hitting dirt. Top spin is also a big reason, and I fully believe this game has top spin/back spin on balls in the air, though I do not have any evidence that it affects the ball once it hits the ground.
This does still need to be worked on, though. Like, not saying they aren't addressing it well enough or anything because I'm sure this part is bloody difficult, but I hope they don't take one step forward by taking two steps back. In other words, the way to address this is not by making outfielders run slower down the lines than in the gaps, or something like that (if that makes sense).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show (Community Day Gameplay Q&A Thread)
I have a question on a very minor nitpick here:
Did they tweak the way Matty V says created player names? You know how there's that little delay from first name to last name? It just sounds a little unnatural from the guys that are in the game already. Would like more natural flow.
LOL, like I said, very minor nitpick, but I'm not aware if it's been brought up at all. If not, no big deal. Thanks!Comment
