Just to add to some of the other responses here, was Miller (being a lefty) your best option for pitching to Valencia with Reyes on deck? I don't know Valencia's ratings against righties or lefties but my first thought was that you should have had a righty on the mound to begin with to better your chances.
A lead off single in a one run game late can lead to destruction.
Also, on the bunt. I saw literally no lag at all on Miller trying to field the ball. None whatsoever. Why do you feel like you were held back?
Miller probably has a poor reaction rating too. Not that any pitcher really could have got him at first anyway. I would have had my third baseman in. Basically, Reyes would be tough to double up any way so you would have been better off giving up the third base line and conceding the double play in order to defend the bunt better.
I realize hindsight is 20/20 but some of your game plan in these videos is a little suspect. Wouldn't you agree you could have managed this better?
