Instead of focusing on the actual subject of the thread, you instead decided to focus on asking me a loaded question. That's how it incited something.

Anyway, thanks for all the help fellas. Clearly I just need to step my game up in the late innings of higher difficulty games.

I was asking where you were ridiculed and ganged up on, as you clearly were quoted as saying. Not sure how that's a loaded question, nor what it incited.

I can tell you as the CPU becomes more aggressive at the plate in later innings when behind I attack the hitter outside of the strike with more frequency as I believe their tendency to chase is higher.

I think on wild pitches its the stupid "catcher completely misses it" scenario which is way too prevalent.

I'm not American and don't get to watch all that much baseball, but two irritating things: 1) catchers having to throw out batters at first on third strikes in the dirt. This happens multiple times a game. Is it really that frequent in real life? 2) broken bats also occur in virtually every game, often more than once. Again, does this happen so often in real life?
(apologies if these matters have already been mentioned but I haven't had time to read the whole thread)

They won't be. Pitching on hall of fame or legend is a complete bitch and will drive you crazy. I noticed that in previous years of The Show.

I think pitching on all-star is absurdly easy. I can't find a happy medium.

I agree. I find it easy most times too. You would have to shift the sliders to favor CPU hitting on all-star. That could be the type of gameplay you're looking for.

1) It does happen often in real MLB games, since many pitchers would rather throw pitches in the dirt than hang them up in the zone. A caveat may be that in real-life catchers do not always have to throw to 1B to complete an out, because many hitters are oblivious to the fact that the pitch was dropped, so the catcher simply needs to tag the hitter. That doesn't happen in The Show (although I did see it happen once during the CD event this year... obviously it's not really coded in yet).

2) Broken bat probably happens too often in the game... which is a consequence of this year's game making the timing window tighter up and inside and many gamers get jammed on that pitch, resulting in broken bats. I think the fact that hitters get jammed is fine, but the bat probably should be broken less often...

Have you tried putting Dynamic Difficulty on and getting to All Star+?

That's where I've settled in and I'm thoroughly enjoying it

I've seen the catcher tag out guys on a dropped third strike numerous times.
