Re: Online Franchise
Please Help!!!!
We started on OF. It is only showing us games for the month of April, the rest of the calendar is clear. We chose to play 56 (ish) games and 25 are in April.
None of the games are against one of my two buddies either.
There is a clock counting down that says "round expiration" on the right of the screen - what happens when that time expires? Does the next month appear?Comment

Chase for the Championship
XChiTownCubsX
We were playing and moving along just fine. Until suddenly it wouldn't let us sim any games, and it wouldn't count the game when completed.
We would get the message on the events and history screen
"A fame failed to simulate and your queue has been reset. An error report has been generated for this league "
Then we waited about a week, still not working. So we decided to give it another go. Same thing happened about a month into that franchise but only for ONE user. Any time he tries simming or completing a game he gets same error message above.
That one is Battle for the East same commissioner.
We completed 9 seasons last year with this group of guys and really looked forward to playing franchise together. But with this problem it makes it tough.
Appreciate the response Russell, any help would be appreciated.Comment

When trading in franchise mode, how do you see the other teams available budget?Comment

Re: Online Franchise
Injuries are off because of them only occurring in games that the user plays. And in MLB 15 we had them on, a player of mine was hurt through the season and dissappeared upon the next season. So we opted to have them off.
Only 4 teams are controlled all in same division. Rest are CPU. We used a roster "Top 100+ mlb prospects"Comment

Re: Online Franchise
Hey guys, sorry havent chimed in on this discussion until now, but I have learned how to setup online franchises over the years without any major issues. I am not saying this will help you guys out but its worth a try. It is not ideal for the guys use to bouncing around on the schedule because from what I have seen and learned since 2012 is those open schedules are a disaster, if you actually play the games in order you will have less issues. Also you have to align the teams how they should be dont use the default setup. They have west at top when it should b east and if you ever noticed commish that when a user drops out the teams move around in that division, by setting it up the correct way this no longer happens and like I said by taking the time to set things up the way I will have in the video I have not really had any major issues. We have been able to get challenges as well.
I think im just going to make a small video how to setup a online franchise correctly and all of you can watch that and give it a shot. So give me a little bit and I will post the link here.Last edited by Houston; 04-13-2016, 11:29 AM.Youtube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4

Re: Online Franchise
And then they wonder why no one plays the mode too much.
I know this won't work for everybody, but my buddy and I played one full season of Online Franchise when it was first introduced last year or the year before, whatever, and decided it wasn't for us, but we wanted to keep playing a franchise together somehow. We ended up making a PSN that we both have on our PS4's and started an offline franchise and set it up like a multi-user/team franchise would normally be set up. We then would save it to The Show's cloud and share it that way.
The downside to this method is only one person can be on the franchise at a time which means you both normally play 2 games at most and then share it back and forth. We got through nearly a full season using this method while playing every game before my main PSN account was hacked and deactivated my PS4 as my primary which did not allow my other profile to play The Show. I've since gotten that all taken care of and we are back to running a franchise like that again this year.Comment

Re: Online Franchise
I thought about going this route, and even set up a season like this, because of how Bare Bones and lame online franchise is.. But the downside is you have to play at the exact same pace, and you have to play 162 games. Sometimes he will go 3 or 4 days without playing, I don't like that LOL
I also want to add before beginning you half to go over each team and make sure they all say 25/25/25/15 total 90.
check each teams rotation make sure none say EMPTY or the 1 SP gets all the starts etc.Last edited by Houston; 04-13-2016, 12:23 PM.Youtube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4

Re: Online Franchise
Ok servers are back up going to do a video now, what I normally do is i have extra psn names for each team i made a few years ago i fill those teams up when we dont have a user for that teams prevents a lot of BS with guys signing free agents or trying to trade them quit your league. You give guys a certain amount of days to play and if the games not in do what me and my admin do is play the games ourselves, have a committee of guys u trust to help get those games in, i think its cool to have all human stats, but if your in a hurry u can sim the games.

Re: Online Franchise
No you actually can move yourself to any other team and just put CPU on the the teams, i thought u had a bigger type league but if its just you and a few friends then cpu the other teams and move to the team your friend playing and you play each other vice versa, but just play the games in order.Youtube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4

Hopefully whatever Russell and the crew are cooking up will allow us to get back into OF, the game is kinda dry without it.Chicago Bulls•Toronto Raptors•Carolina Panthers•Toronto Blue Jays•Toronto Maple LeafsComment

Re: Online Franchise
try it without open schedule and let me know and it could be the roster your using. I would try my way with default roster play 10 games and get back to us.Youtube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4
