Contract stuff is the same, with the exception that you can now sign guys to 15 year deals max instead of 10, not sure why that was added in..but yeah.

    Some positives:

Menus seem more responsive and load faster.
Simming/Resolving went alot faster and smoother than in years past.
It's a small thing but you can see players in their unis in the roster/trade screen. Kinda cool.

That's all I got. It's pretty much the same from last year as we all figured.
Nice of them to tinker with like two things, but upsetting to hear that most of the bugs/glitchs are probably still going to occur

        Re: Online Franchise

the devs can't go by the silly numbers that show how many play it offline vs online..

the reason is because it was broken online.. most people don't have the patience for playing a broken mode obviously..

those that do are extremely hardcore...

look at the online forums here at OS for the show 16... it's extremely popular and I didn't realize how much as far as online leagues. I put my groupme on the forum to join a mlb show league this year for the first time and I have already been invited to over 10 different leagues that are full. This is a way more than FIFA from this site.. and NHL combined.

and I'm still getting invites. the demand is certainly there for this mode.. if the devs and some in the community don't think so.. they are only fooling themselves

Wow that sucks. I don't play online franchise, but it seems like very little people play it because it's so stripped down and not updated with new features.

Wow, they didn't even update this year's schedules. It's 2015. This is absolutely insane.

It's a complete and utter slap in the face to online franchisers.

Well if we needed any proof they didn't touch the mode..here we go lol. Kind of just something you laugh at, but it's pretty sad.

I am lost for word. Can't believe they didn't even add the 2016 schedule. They didnt touch this mode at all is another head scratch-er.

I tested this last night and....NO!

I was so excited, I even took a photo!

During playoffs, it even has the Postseason art on the field.

One issue that is still there is when you do a Round Robin league and have 8 teams make the playoffs, they still have 1 vs 8 and 2 vs 7 on the SAME SIDE of the bracket. They should be on opposite sides....

                                Re: Online Franchise

I want to make sure this is stated (I believe it was, but for the sake of any who haven't seen it):

SCEA is aware that they did not make changes to Online Franchise. It isn't something they 'missed', it was a development decision based on time constraints.

The truth is (per an SCEA stream) that approximately 500K players played offline franchise while 45K played online. For WHATEVER reason (I know many of the OF crowd will state that they don't play BECAUSE it's bare bones, which may be a valid reason) those are the bottom line numbers that SCEA has to go off of, which makes Online Franchise a low priority item. Quite frankly, outside of Madden (which combined both modes), Online Franchise is the lowest priority item in every sports game currently (including a bare bones NBA mode, the mode being completely absent from NHL and FIFA, and the current offering here).

The mode itself is low priority across sports games. That is not an excuse as I would like to see it brought back to prominence as well, but please use that understanding when discussing it.
