So disappointed with this, the game is forever evolving and things are being added or adjusted left and right.

I mean we get better gameplay and presentation when playing this mode, but nothing else, it remains as barebones as ever.

Missions on top of missions on top of missions were drawn up and added, RTTS took a complete 180 and got a major facelift.

The only positive I draw from all this is that they're happy with where DD is at now and can focus elsewhere, although they've stated it will be RTTS we can remain hopeful that next year we get at least some bug fixes.

No disrespect to the the devs but we're literally playing on code that is 3 years old, we shouldn't have to be grateful that this mode is in as it's basically as easy as copying and pasting the code for the most part or so it seems, the changes it sees year to year begins and ends with how the menus look and that is all.

Asked if online franchise was updated in the latest stream and got this reply

"We updated the UI and fixed some issues with the Player Card in Online Franchise."

400K games played in Online franchise. Less than DD which had 17M+, and regular Franchise which had 7M+ played, RTTS had 81M. Online play now had just over a million. So yea that's why it's not of high importance compared to other modes.

Aka it would be 1M if the mode was working haha

Pretty much 400k strong soldiers struggled with the bugs. God bless us.

This should not be a surprise to anyone. People can complain all they want but in the end SDS has all the data and they know what is the most cost effective and what will be appreciated by the most people.

That's games played not amount of users who played the mode. 1 million is still a miniscule number.

                  You're clueless.

Gee, wonder why people tend to stay away from a broken mode?

                  Hmm....

I know but they said a number before last year I believe in terms of user or saved games for each mode.

What I'm generally saying is that if the mode is broken of course the numbers will always be low. That's so simple.

I was surprised only 400k games. My buddy and I played a little over 1000 games combined ourselves.

It's a factor as to why. The others being the cost in manpower and money to completely revamp the mode. Also as is true every other sports game, Online franchise is THE LEAST PLAYED GAME MODE. So actually you're clueless. Those are the 3 main reasons that online franchise, in my educated opinion hasn't been touched in however many years.

Hell 400k for a mode that's missing so much? I'm actually impressed. No injuries. No stamina. Pitchers pitching 30 straight games. And the time it takes to Sim games, I'm surprised that msny have stuck with.

I gurantee if they made it parallel to Offline (Madden) the numbers would change significantly. Easier said then done, but it'd make actually big difference.

Everyone seems to think all these people wanting to play OF are in 15-30 team leagues. But what about the 2 buddies who want to play in the same franchise?

That's where madden excels actually why more online connected franchises are started then offline.

And it would take a complete revamp of both online and offline franchise modes to do that. Is it worth hypothetically gaining an extra 200K to the user base when you are paying millions of dollars to make the 2 modes the same like how CFM is?

Let's stop throwing out random #'s as we have no idea how many people it would add, or how costly it would be.

To make them identical I believe would be a very tough task for the team. As much of a dream scenario as that would be, that's not what any of us are asking.

Again, the offline guys can come in here and say things about why it gets no love, and the devs can give us #'s. But what most don't understand (dev's and offline guys who look at us OF'ers often as a annoyance) is the unbelievably long list of issues.

We all have said this or that does not work etc... but if we actually came up with a full list of the issues in the mode I think most would be surprised and maybe start to understand our end of things.

So this # game people throw out is BS on my end and not a good excuse. Mode hasn't worked since day 1 in March of 2014. That's the real issue why the #'s are low.
