Re: New morale features
Morale - no, if I'm remembering correctly what Luis said in the stream.
Salary Cap - Sort of, there is no salary cap in MLB. But you can turn of budgets in The Show when you start a Franchise. -
Re: New morale features
Wish the coach could handle the morale. Can we put morale on auto? I like simming lots of games at a time.Comment

Re: New morale features
There isn't really an auto for it. You can only control a few aspects of it related to the lineup/rotation and the rest of the team. So it shouldn't affect simming too much.Comment

Re: New morale features
This is horrible news. This exact feature is the most annoying thing in NBA2k when your players waste all your time trying to make them happy horrible feature not needed and unrealistic. No professional athlete needs to be coddled they get paid plenty and always play hard so they can get paid again in a new contract even if they aren't happy.
It was already hard enough simming trough a season when 20 or so players potentials change on every team every year. I think since I only play franchise and love simming I will stick with MLB15 and wait until the next release save my money.Comment

Re: New morale features
You have no idea how it will actually work. From what they showed, even if you just leave it, it won't affect the players that much. Besides if they player is unhappy with his contract, but is hitting well and the team is doing well then it evens itself out. No need to say its a horrible feature when you haven't tried it out and see how it actually plays out.Comment

Re: New morale features
All I am saying is I think its possible you can ignore it and it's not going to affect anything more than the hot/cold streaks did it previous versions. You dont have to waste your time on it if you choose not to, I get it you want it off, but you can just ignore it as well.Comment

Re: New morale features
Just don't play the game and you won't be 'wasting your time.' Games are inherently a passtime activity anyway. Sounds like you need to find something else to do.Comment

Re: New morale features
i thought morale was already in the game. if you go to a players card it shows you how a meter of how much the player is satisfied with their team, their spot in the lineup, the league their in and their own performance. only now guys give preference to their homestate/city and there are emoticons to represent their satisfaction or lack-thereofComment

Re: New morale features
Pro athletes don't need to be coddled and play hard every game? That's so false I don't know where to start. It's a minority granted but there is always whiny players so have to make happy and I'm sorry, not all players play hard all the time. Just because you are paid a boatload of money, doesn't make you walk around smiling and super happy all the time
