To get a catcher of that magnitude around 85+, There are not many out there. If you want a guy who can hold it down and get cheaply, Go for Rob Chirinos. BUt if you are the Astros, why dont you start Gattis at catcher?

I have him playing LF and backup Catcher. Dont know if it matters but when I started my franchise (OSFM 2.5 I think) he was a Left Fielder dont know if that effects his catcher ratings.

He was in the running for a gold glove out in left so I would like to keep him out there.

Also would like to say that I have Jason Castro who I could probably get back for cheap he had a really good year but has been ice cold through the playoffs and the last week of the regular season. So ideally it would be an upgrade over him.

      I may look into Chirinos

Chirinos isn't anything special offensively but his defense is very good.

So i'm gonna start a Red Sox Franchise and I want to get rid of Price I have never liked him. What do you think I should look for in return?

There is no reason to trade David Price. Just signed a huge deal, the Red Sox don't have any other pitcher good enough to pitch at the top of the rotation.

Looking for a controllable catcher or a rental to get you through the season and then deal with it come the off season?

If you don't mind a rental, Matt Wieters could be an option if the Orioles are out of contention come the trade deadline time. If you try to keep things as realistic as possible he can't be traded until after June something due to signing the QO in the offseason. However, if they are out of it they would probably look to trade him

There is a better chance that Mike Trout gets traded before David Price.

Thinking about moving Teheran for a young bat in the outfield. Have looked at acquiring Nomar Mazara from the Rangers and the trade logic in the game seems to let me do it. Just wondering if this would be a realistic trade.

Any help on what the Red Sox would give up for Teheran?
Or a package of Teheran and Vizcaino?
Want a rotation upgrade and I decided to manual injure Smith since I am only 6 weeks ahead of real time in my franchise.
Maybe Neal Ramirez from the Cubs if Vizcaino is too expensive. Cubs DFA him a few days back.

                          This doesnt matter.
Irl they dont wanna trade him, but the user wants. We just gotta tell him what is Price's value. Doesnt matter if hes not likely to be traded irl. Thats where u separate the game from irl. Not like the user is the real Sox GM and hás the same thought as him

In the OSFM V3 rosters, Wieters went down to an 80 and not very good

Are we sure? I don't know that the valuation is too far off if Texas is in playoff contention. Texas is loaded with positional prospects, especially in the OF. I could see a deal in there somewhere
