Would prefer a left-handed bat--the Padres are very unbalanced with righty batters.

One name I thought about was Freddie Freeman, but I think the realism of getting him is questionable. Any names you guys can think of that fits these criteria (lefty batter, decent on defense at 1B or LF, not necessarily superstar level but can balance out a lineup and hit for power, realistic) ??
    Brandon Moss?

Reds are out of it and to the looks of things they should finish off the fire sale they started last year. What prospects would they need in return for the following players.

      J.J. Hoover
      Tony Cingrani

Both bullpen guys are doing well so realism is key.

      Could a package of Chih-Wei Hu (RHP + B) #13 prospect in farm , Casey Gillaspie (1B + C) #8 prospect in farm and Tim Beckham (SS + C) due ?

        Just spit-balling here..

1B: Matt Adams, John Jaso, Justin Bour, Travis Shaw, Carlos Santana (switch hitting), A.J. Reed

OF: Colby Rasmus, Josh Reddick, CarGo, David Peralta, Mark Trumbo, Jay Bruce

Obviously not all fit the exact criteria, but hey, I tried lol. Some more realistic than others.. Some depend on how the team is doing.. Some are right fielders.. Some would be cheap.. Some are rentals.. One is a prospect. Hopefully this helps a little, or at least is a start.

I can't comprehend J.J. Hoover doing "well" He's a pitching machine in real life (in AAA) and could be had for a handful of 1999 Topps.

Cingrani is interesting, but not exactly valuable since he never really developed a useful/consistent third offering and has trouble throwing strikes.

I wouldn't give up Gillaspie for either one or both. Chih-Wei Hu would be fine for Cingrani.

I'll add him to the list. He's a good option because (1) He's sort of odd man out in STL (Adams, Holliday, Piscotty, and Grichuk) and (2) He's equally proficient at 1B and LF. Thanks. Good name.

Thanks. I was thinking about Bour also. A former Cubs non-prospect having himself a little bit of a career. Reddick would probably be ideal, but there might be the same issues as with trying to snatch up Freddie Freeman, namely how "available" is Reddick?

Another name I was thinking was Jon Singleton, who seems to be in the dog house in Houston with Tyler White and A.J. Reed rising up there. Singleton isn't exactly a vacuum cleaner at 1B though.

I will let you guys know what I end up doing.

I've had great success with Singleton when playing in other modes in the game.

Yep, he can sure hit. Also young and full of team control. Lots of intrigue there.

I'd say my short list, thanks to you guys, is probably Brandon Moss/Jon Singleton/Justin Bour and I might take a spin through my roster to see if I can find any other attractive options.

Speaking of Jon Singleton, I thought this was neat...He's only got a .198 BABIP right now in AAA, but due to his getting on base via BB and hitting for power, he's actually running a .364 wOBA and 121 wRC+ in spite of that ridiculous BABIP. Not really on topic, but I thought it was worth sharing.

What's a fair deal to get Jeremy Hazelbaker to Washington? I have clue on this one.

Should be able to grab him for a reliever or Mid C prospect or 2 .. Is Michael Taylor not doing well to need another outfielder

Taylor is doing fine splitting time with Werth so far. I just can't do anything with Den Dekker, and I'd like to add another lefty bat in the OF. Found hazelbaker while grinding with the cards in DD and hit really well with him.

Hey so thanks for that advice. I made the following trades at the deadline I'm the Rays.

                            Cubs got

                            Jake Odorizz + Danny Farquhar

                            Rays got

Jorge Soler + Dan Vogelbach + Jacob Hannemann

                            *********************************
                            Indians got

                            Steve Pearce

                            Rays got

                            T.J. House

                            *********************************

                            Reds got

                            Chih-Wei Hu

                            Rays got

                            Tony Cingrani

                            *********************************

Now this offseason I would like to move Alex Cobb if I can get a difference maker in my lineup is this realistic due to TJ ? And if so what is the best package I can get for him ?

I don't have a good answer, but I do have a tip for you: bumping your own requests is a really good way to get people to stop responding to your posts altogether. You asked this same question 4 hours ago. I would say bumping and just asking too many trades are really good ways to get you ignored. Just an FYI.
