Yeah sorry should've been more clear, right now my only lefty in the pen is Tony Watson so I'm looking for another lefty arm, and I'd like to get rid of lobstein or locke if possible.. I like Howell I could see that happening, thanks!
I actually really like Lobstein, but I love Howell. Add in a decent spec and all good.

Yeah I agree I like Lobstein too, I'm just really in need of a lefty middle reliever and lobstein is more in a long reliever role since he'll never break my starting rotation and he's a piece I'm willing to move to get that middle reliever

I would think that the Rays would want some high upside pitching in any deal that involves Archer. Plus I don't think they would be inclined to deal him at the moment, would probably have to over pay by quite a bit to get him.

Playing as the Red Sox, I was able to get Francisco Rodriguez even though I already had Kimbrel as my closer.

          Then I did this trade:

I gave the Mets: Francisco Rodriguez (CP), Brock Holt (2B) and a 20 year old 72 OVR CF prospect for Noah Syndergaard.

Trading still seems broken. Noah is a 23 year old 88 OVR pitcher ...no team would ever trade him away.

I love that combo, I think I'll throw in 1 more piece just to keep from feeling like I robbed them.

                  Yeah, just a bit...

If the Mets were looking to move Thor, any trade starts with Xander and/or Mookie I'd think...

I mean, if it's and, you back away as fast as possible. If it's or, that could be worked.

That's all if they were looking to move him in the first place. They aren't, and I don't think they'll ever consider moving him until he nears FA, and even then, I doubt it.

I wouldn't go above someone like Corey Black if you're insisting on giving them more. I think Schwarber + Hendricks for Archer is very fair.

You gotta think, Schwarber isn't blocked at any position in TB, really. They'd probably put him at 1B. To my knowledge he hasn't played there (in the bigs/minors anyway) but with his athleticism and catching background I'd be confident in his ability there. Logan Morrison isn't gonna prevent that lol.

If you throw in a guy like Vogelbach you could probably get away with getting a prospect in the low levels back + Archer.

I was thinking he would DH while providing relief at C, LF and learning 1B in Tampa.

That's very reasonable for his immediate impact. The real take away there was if you're giving up more to get Archer, don't do anything higher than a top 20-25 organizational talent + Schwarber and Hendricks.

If the Twins tank this season, thoughts on what it might take to get Phil Hughes back in pinstripes?

Honestly depends on how he does in 2016, right now low B + mid C? Something reasonable
