No it would not.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
What is the general price for picking up a good bullpen arm from a lower ranked team at the deadline. Someone with a mid/low 80s overall?
Players like Carter Capps, Corey Knebel, Kelvin Herrera, and maybe Keone Kela.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys so I'm approaching the all star break in my Rays franchise. We're sitting at just over 500 but only because of a massive run in late may when we won 10 of 12 to go from just under 500 to way over, and the team has steadily fallen back to earth. Some trades I was looking at:
Rockies get: Jennings (LF), Alex Cobb (SP)
Rays get: Trevor Story (SS), Hoffman (mid-B prospect) (SP)
I know at first glance this might look unfair but the Rockies are without Jon Gray and De La Rosa for at least a month and only 2 games out of a wild card spot. They recently sent Story down to AAA after he hit .219 until mid June, and his potential is now a B. Reyes was called up and he's hitting .315 so far. I feel this deal benefits both teams.
Pirates get: Logan Forsynthe (2B/SS), Drew Smyly (SP)
Rays get: Jameson Tallion (SP), Josh Bell (1B)
Pirates are leading the Wildcard race and Forsynthe is hitting about .290 having a pretty good year, and Forsynthe could definitely play shortstop for the Buccos. Taillion I feel could be moved in this deal because he's coming off Tommy John's and his value might be slightly lower after the surgery compared to before (last year). Not sure if Bell is too much to ask for as well. I would definitely either look at Austin Meadows and someone else or possibly also throw in Steve Pearce because he could play 1B for them.
One final question: How tradeable are Evan Longoria and Danny Farquar? I am certainly interested in packaging them to try to get more prospects/ young MLB ready talent.
Baseball: Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates
Basketball: Chicago Bulls
Football: Chicago Bears
Hockey: Chicago Blackhawks
College Sports: University of Oregon

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Hi guys, I'm with the Jays and its June 3rd just finished with the draft. I'm 28-27 and I have played every game so far. My offense is doing great but my pitching is awful. I have the 3rd highest era in the league, tied for last in the league with 11 blown saves, lead the league in hits allowed, runs allowed and home runs allowed by 26 (also not getting very much Ks 20th in league)... Yeah my pitching isn't doing so well.
I was looking around and after watching Adam Conley pitch his (could have been) no hitter I really liked him. He has a great fastball and good off speed pitches. I decided I want to make a trade with Miami for him. He is a lefty too which is good because only lefty I have is Happ. I also like Carter Capps which he could really help my bullpen. I know he will cost a lot but I think it will be worth it.
Adam Conley Stats- 4-4 3.46era 1.33 WHIP 8.38 K/9
Carter capps has no stats because he is in class A. (Using OSFM)
Don't know really where to start with a package I wouldn't mind trading Hutchinson (73 overall) he was born in Florida and he wants to be close to home so that would help his overall. Jesse Chavez could go as well.
I know this isn't very realistic because Miami wouldnt trade their young guys away but that's ok.
Thanks for the help.Last edited by pickle2002; 05-01-2016, 10:18 PM.Comment

Longoria and Farquhar are both tradeable if you are the Rays. It's really up to you whether you want to deal them, but you're going to need to dial it back on the return in general to find a decent deal.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys. I am rebuilding the Padres right now and through 37 games the team is 8-29. No one is hitting over .250 and Tyson Ross' ERA is 6.89 so far. It's bad. Time to blow it up.
I'm using real contracts so Shields deal is just unmovable as are Melvin's and Kemp's. I have already moved Cashner for a prospect. Now I'm trying to gauge the value of these players:
Alexei Ramirez: B prospect?
Derek Norris: two C prospects?
Does this sound about right?Comment

For Fernandez and Stanton, pick pretty much any three prospects that you want. They will pretty much get you anybody.Comment

STL: RF C. Gonzalez
COL: SP J. Flaherty (B), RF N. Plummer (B), SP T. Cooney (C)
2016 trade deadline, Colorado is out of contention, STL is in 2nd in the Central. This is a 30 team control, I don't play as either teamComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Os franchise, 4 games from the AS break in 1st 3 up on TB. Oday is struggling, i need an 8th inning guy.
Royals, Athletics, Rockies, Brewers, Phillies are out of it.
Was thinking of going for Hochevar (4-4 2.65 era, 1.08 whip)
Whats a package i could move to be fair. Using v1 osfm rosters. Havent made any deals all year so what little there is in the farm is there. Prefer not to move Chance Sisqo most of the rest could be hadComment
