Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I am really looking for a package for Gray, and would be willing to part with one of Julio Urias/Corey Seager for him, although I would prefer to not obviously hahaUniversity of Louisville '18

I could see the Mariners for Taijuan Walker+. Cardinals for pitching. Rangers for Gallo or Profar or Mazara +."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Why at Gray, just curious? Because I think I remember you saying last year when I wanted Gray as a Red Sox you said I had to give up Devers, Owens (who was at a higher value at the time), and a couple others. And I can understand Teheran should have edited him off the post.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I would like to get a starter or outfielder to start restock the farm system should things go south. Cleveland would be a decent destination but realistically I don't know if they would pull that trigger on trading a guy like Aiken for a closer. That's why I thought Dodgers but was wondering if any other contender would be interested.Comment

He was just the first guy that came to mind. Bauer would suffice as well. I mean look at the oriole farm system. LOLComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I think maybe something like Britton and Sisco could work for Bauer, being a starter Bauer with good potential (though he still has some mental things to work on to reach it) for a RP Baltimore would have to add a little. Indians could use some better catcher prospects, though I don't know what Siscos arm is like or very much about him.Comment

Thanks for the suggestion. Sisco's defense is ok but is getting better as he was converted from outfielder I think. His bat is good and should adapt well to the majors. Plus he is only 21. If Wieters leaves after the season which I think he will, he will probably compete for the backup job next year with Caleb Joseph being the starter.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Any ideas of how to get Conforto to the A's?
I know this is far from realistic, and I usually never make trades in the first season of my A's franchise unless there's a deadline need, but just humor me because Conforto is my favorite player for personal reasons.
I figure Barreto would be a realistic headliner of a prospect package. Or it could start with Reddick. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys,
In July in my MLB 15 Franchise, planning to play out the season and then transfer over to 16. I'm trying to complete any real life moves that make sense (if the Royals were out of it for example, Cueto would have been dealt somewhere else). That said, my Jays are 3.5 games up in the division entering the month, and moves for Tulo and Price are on the table.
However, Buehrle's been hurt and Sanchez has been terrible as a starter (go figure). With Stroman still out until August at the earliest, Daniel Norris has slid into my rotation and played very well to the tune of a 3-1 record with a sub 3.5 ERA, 9+K/9, 3 BB/9 and a 1.2 WHIP. I still want to deal for Price, but with Norris being a valuable contributor it doesn't make a ton of sense to move him in the middle of a playoff race.
Basically, I'm asking if there's a way around including Norris, who's a 71 OVR, B POT SP. I can't include Hoffman because I'm planning to replicate the Tulo trade exactly. That leaves me with Sean Reid-Foley, who's a B Potential but much less developed and Max Pentecost, who unlike real life is a B potential playing well at catcher in A-ball. The rest of the trade would stay the same.
Also adding a wrench is Price's play, which isn't as good as real life Price at the time of the trade. Real life Price had 9-5, 2.53 ERA, 8.5 K/9, 1.8 BB/9 and a 1.11 WHIP at the time of the trade, game Price is 6-5, 3.10 ERA, 8 K/9, 2.5 BB/9 and a 1.20 WHIP. Obviously not a huge gap, but the strikeouts being down has me wondering. Other contenders are Royals, Angels/Astros, Nats, Cards, Dodgers. Royals will get Cueto so I might be the only serious suitor.
TLDR; Want Price without giving up Norris (71, B). Willing to include Max Pentecost or Sean Reid-Foley instead, both B potentials in premium positions.
To Jays:
P David Price
To Tigers:
C Max Pentecost/P Sean Reid-Foley (sub 60 OVR, B Potential)
P Matt Boyd
