Actually, now that I think about it, I think the Royals could be talked into trading Hosmer. They've also had a need at SP. I could see them possibly moving Hosmer if they got back a SP of Garcia's caliber. But it's 50/50. Only the Royals would be able to tell you for sure if they would ever consider it lol.

He's on some of the vault rosters and is typically a pretty well rounded player in the 74-76 rating range. Any ideas for an arm to include?

Garcia for Hosmer? Not really close. Add in quite a bit more. Garcia had had an injury past, he's good, but not Hosmer good.

Personally I'd just look at Morneau in FA

He isn't doing it straight up. He was just looking for targets that he could base a trade around Garcia for.

I'm with the Astros and I'm looking for good lefty out of the pen. I would want him to come out late in the game like as a setup or even closer sometimes if there is a bunch of lefties up. The only lefty I have now is tony sipp but he isn't doing very well.

Preston Tucker is a guy I wouldn't mind trading. I don't know if he would be too much or too less. It would be nice if I could get a corner infield guy for on the bench if tucker was too much for just the pitcher.

The only guy I was looking at was Luis Avilan on the Dodgers. He is on the trade block in my franchise, but they really don't need tucker.

            Thanks for any recommendations.

JP Howell from Dodgers, Loup from Toronto, Rzcenzki (sp) A's. Quite a few options out there.

                Could Loup fetch Preston Tucker??

I am looking for a deal for Loup. He is stuck in AAA where is has a 1.89 ERA in July. He's been doing well, but I have no spot for him and have Wesley Wright and Morales who are also doing well. I am looking for an OF mainly, but would rather an OF who can also backup INF positions as well.

                Any ideas?

                    New York Yankees

Wouldn't take much more than a middle prospect at best if they were to assume the rest of his contract. The Padres just want salary relief. They would practically give him away if they got that.

Maybe throw a wild card for the Stros. Just depends on the need. Loup isn't even in MLB for you. If he was doing that in MLB I'd say go for it.

Chavis + Kopech sounds good, depends on if you're using injuries or not.

                        Are you using Refsnyder?

Besides the realism factor of having just acquired him, what about trading Hyun soon Kim for Skaggs so LA could get its 3rd outfielder?

From an Oriole fan here, Matt Moore will never happen unless you include Hunter Harvey and or Bundy as the Rays will not trade within the division without getting value in return. Look at the deal with the Red Sox from 2014 for Andrew Miller. Orioles gave up a very good and young left handed starter in Edurado Rodriguez.

Tyler Skaggs may be easier to obtain given he has thrown a pitch in big leagues since 2014 because of injuries but I don't know how much the Angels value him. Maybe an Angel fan in here that can answer that?? I don't think Kim will be enough given how bad he played during Spring and will probably be rated low. Christian Walker has been rated a B potential the last couple years and unless you plan to start him on the big league team or move him to the outfield he could be a starting point if the Angels don't want much in return for Skaggs.

When trading in franchise mode, how do you see the other teams available budget?

                              Trevor Story

Also how much value do these guys have:
                              Coco Crisp
                              Sonny Gray

                              Henderson Alvarez
Sonny Gray has a lot of value and can get you into some top prospects. I don't know if it's a match for any of the teams you are looking at though. The other guys you listed don't have much value at all.

Nah bro. Jaime Garcia for Eric Hosmer is dead on arrival. Not even close having Garcia as a centerpiece. Hosmer has way more value. Would need Wacha/Martinez+ to make that work.

Yea I was leaning towards the Skaggs trade but LAA is difficult to gauge because they are sort of in a desperate win now mode but have a depleted farm system. Would they more likely value a prospect or two or someone that they could play this year, particularly in the outfield. Do you think Reimold has more value than Kim?
