Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I should have mentioned that this was no shot at Mets fans, just the first team and example that came to mind. There are surely othersComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Twins acquire
Matt Moore (10 starts)
W-L 5-3
IP 62.0
SO 70
ERA 4.35
WHIP 1.65
Jake Odorini (10 starts)
W-L 6-2
IP 68.0
SO 52
ERA 4.37
WHIP 1.49
Casey Gillespie (AAA - 40 games) (23yo high C - low B)
AB 163
HR 7
RBI 24
SB 0
AVG .287
Rays acquire
Miguel Sano (43 games)
AB 159
HR 21
RBI 41
AVG .346
**Full disclosure I know Sano is close to untouchable as it gets for a rebuilding club at the age of 22 with team control till 2021 but with no serious pitching prospects coming along besides Jose Berrios + Tyler Jay with an ETA of ending 2016 early 2017 but who knows…Last edited by Dirty_D_; 06-01-2016, 03:16 PM.NewYork Mets | NewYork Knicks | NewYork "Football" Giants

Since you know that Sano isn't going to get dealt, I won't lecture about it...but I think that means your going to have to give up an "untouchable" guy like Snell.
If you look at any trade for a guy who is not being actively shopped around, you aren't going to get away with trading just guys your looking to move. Your going to have to make some sort of sacrifice.Chicago Cubs

Probably gonna need to switch out Moore for Blake Snell.

or I'm i at the point of just controlling the Twins and retire as Rays GM ?Last edited by Dirty_D_; 06-01-2016, 03:47 PM.NewYork Mets | NewYork Knicks | NewYork "Football" Giants

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Anyone have any ideas of any bench utility players that could be available? I'm assuming the value would be something like a high C prospect? Only player I can think of is Brock Holt, but I'm the Blue Jays so a trade is very unlikely.
Thanks!Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm curious as to how much, if any, impact statements such as these would have on trade value of Padres players in general and James Shields in particular.

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Escobar would be the more realistic target for what I believe your trying to give away. (your looking for a unity/bench player) which Santana is not, yea he may have hit his ceiling but at 25 with team control till 2020 you would have to give up a mid C + some kind of lottery ticket for him IMO.NewYork Mets | NewYork Knicks | NewYork "Football" Giants

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm looking to add a pitcher in the 3-5 range in my Cubs franchise. I had an offer on the table to the Padres for Cashner. I would give up Underwood, Almora and Corey Black or Oscar de la Cruz is the value about the same.
I would also like to move Rondon and Hammel what would be the expected return for those two. I was thinking a c level prospect for Hammel and maybe a low level B for Rondon.
Thanks for any infoComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Nearing the start of my Astros franchise. I want to make a move at the catcher position, but I think I will pass on Lucroy for now. So I have two questions:
1. What kind of value does Rockies C Tom Murphy have? Would love to deal for him.
2. What kind of value does Astros C Jason Castro have? If I deal for Murphy, I'd like to deal Castro. I know his return would be minimal, but just curious on other people's opinions.
All moves are made before the season starts, so no stats to provide.
Thanks!
