In terms of realism, I think they'd want Severino. The White Sox are actually trying to go for it and trading Sale would be waving the white flag.

Give me Severino, his youth, and all those years of control over Pineda on a rebuilding club. I do agree that Pineda probably has an egde skill wise, but he's 5 years older.

I don't think that there's a realistic scenario where Sale is traded this year or next so.. Severino + Judge + Mateo + Clarkin (or someone else who is in that 5-10 range in the organization) for Sale is what I'd call "fair."

And he has looked a lot better in Spring Training this year. Its also just more of a personal preference. I just struggle with him more than I would like. It would take a lot, and our system is pretty barren at the moment. I was just curious what could seem plausible.
Moving Nick C. wouldn't be crazy but I wouldn't recommend it. He's on a cheap contract and he can hit .260 with 15 HR's if you can put up with his mediocre defense at 3B. Your upgrades would involve dealing Nick + (and maybe more) for anyone worth mentioning and taking on a contract that's most likely a lot bigger than Castellanos'. If you were serious about moving him I think your options would be limited. I think you could make a move for Prado, Escobar, Solarte, Lawrie, and I don't think TB would be opposed to moving Longo if they were out of it.. although they've seemed to stay loyal to him. Anyways, I think staying pat with Nick would be your best bet. Many of the deals would probably involve Nick + Fulmer or something of the sort. Not worth it imo.

I am about to start as the Reds. Going full rebuild. I want to move Bruce for sure, would like to move Phillips to make room for Pereza. What kinds of deals could I get for them? Looking for OF help

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. I can do it for the trade I stated in my previous post but I still haven't gone through with it yet. Please help. TIA.
As an Orioles fan, I can tell you they need starting pitching and someone who realizes that four pitches out of the strike zone earns you a free trip to first base. I'm not up on the Cardinals' system but I'm sure you know it well enough.

Well obviously Davis doesn't get traded, realistically. It'd be one of Wacha/Car-Mart. Probably Wacha.

Phillips could probably net you a bag of balls. Reds would be happy to get rid of his contract so I wouldn't expect a major return. Rumors last year were around Yanks and Nats among others who were pursuing him but eventually were shot down because Brandon wanted teams to extend his contract 2 more years. He has a ntc he'd have to waive. Probably would want to go to a contender but supposedly he really LOVES cinci. I'd probably love cinci to if they were paying me $13m to be pedestrian.

As for Bruce, there was talk last year that he was going to Toronto if the Reds ate $8m of his $12m contract. Saunders (TOR) would be sent to LAA and unnamed prospects would go to the Reds. They weren't highly regarded. Probably C rated spects. That should give you a general idea of his worth.. not very high. If you were going full rebuld mode I think Votto would be about the only guy who could get you a healthy return.

a couple questions. Would the Reds trade votto to sox for Hanley Ramirez. (Lower salary and a shorter contract.). What else would the sox have to give up in this deal?

I may try and trade for Javier Baez when I start my Phillies franchise. Any suggestions on a fair deal for him?

                    Nola

Don't see the Cubs moving Javy unless it's for a proven cost-controlled pitcher. I'm assuming you're trying to rebuild the Phillies so moving Nola doesn't make any sense really.

A three team trade could be done where you send the Rays some prospects, you get Baez, and the Cubs get somebody like Cobb, Odorizzi or (if they're ponying up, Archer). There's more teams that could do something like that but that's the example right off the top of my head.

No, the Reds have no use for Hanley. It would take prospects, but with Votto's giant deal idk who you'd even start with. They could probably get some good value for Votto even with his giant contract.

If you're insisting on giving them Hanley, that package would have to include a very good prospect.

Any recommendations for teams I can look into for a possible Zach Britton trade should things go south in my Oriole franchise? I know the Dodgers are one team since they didn't get Chapman. He has two years of team control left.

Giants. Casilla, Lopez both have expiring contracts.

Cleveland could be a target depending on what you are looking to get back

Hi everyone. I am the Los Angeles Dodgers and I am interested in trading Yasiel Puig. I have a few guys I am interested in, and would like to try to package Puig to get, and I was hoping to get some help designing package deals for a few of them. Since most of them are top tier elite, I am also willing to trade other major leaguers too, in that package. I am using OSFM 2015 edited for moves up to now. I created it in MLB 15 and loaded into 16, so its spring training 2015.
                                Thanks!

                                Interested in, in this order:
Sonny Gray with potentially Josh Redick as a package (Oakland)
Julio Teheran and Dansby Swanson as a package (Atlanta)
                                Yu Darvish (Texas)
                                Jose Fernandez (Miami)
                                Felix Hernandez (Seattle)
                                Carlos Correa (Houston)
