First series lost...against the 6-11 mets!! Hamels pitched a gem going 9 innings, allowing 3 hits (b2b solo hr in the 2nd) and striking out 13. Alex Meyer came on in relief for the 10th and gave up a 2 run single to Craig gentry to lose the game. Sitting at 17-5 after a day off, next up Pittsburg. Richards, Peavy and Danks go up against Chris Heston, Loshe, and deGrom's 6-17 Pirates.

After these 2 games I'll post my monthly stat lines for the MLB, update on Minor Leaguers of the month as well.

Rockies are playing horribly. They actually won a game to go to...5-11.

They aren't taking walks at all, striking out too much, and it's been HR or bust.

Something will have to give if this doesn't show signs of turning around. The starting pitching has been horrible and most of the hitters are inconsistent. Even Harper is struggling a bit, though showing signs of improving.

I feel your pain on the walks. I bet I don't have 15 for the season with my whole team! I've got guys with OBP less than there avg's haha. That's due to a tendency to be over aggressive and try to stretch out doubles

So Syndergaard is hurt, McCullers gets his start moved up and all he does is pitch a 2 run complete game while being back by 6 Home runs 2 by Correa 1 by Bird, Buxton, Yelich, and A.J. Ellis. Buxton and Yelich's Homeruns were back to back to lead off my half of the inning.

Won the first one with a 5 run 8th to win by 2 and keep Richards out of the L column. 2-2 bottom of the third at the moment. Game & monthly update to follow

LOL - auto baserunner does that for me just fine

Harper has like 12 walks to lead the team. I think these pitchers are just pounding the zone on me.

I have 12 walks for my team in 6 games, I would say that is more than I usually have as im not very patient at the plate. I see a ball in the zone and I hit it

Another injury strikes as pitcher Brandon Finnegan will miss 3-4 weeks with a finger contusion.

With Blake Snell, the most likely candidate for the rotation also nursing an injury and Luis Severino having been worked out of the pen so he's not rested enough to start, the team had to reach into AAA and pull up a prospect.

Julio Urias was thought to be the one, but the team will wait on the 19-year-old and go for Tyler Glasnow. He will make the next start for the Rockies.

Like most of the Rockies' starters, Finnegan has struggled, but the injury is rough as Finnegan was probably the most rounded of the pitchers.

                            Unbelievable.

Now Tyler Glasnow suffered a hip injury in the first inning. Severino will have to be pressed into service and see what he can give.

Is there a trainer in the game, because I need to fire him....

Re: Official MLB The Show 16 Fantasy Draft Franchise Progress Thread

I finally decided to take a crack at a fantasy draft with OSFM v1.5. I did the massive job of also doing a 30 Team Control Franchise, so I had to draft for all 30 teams. I did about 20 rounds for all the teams and then let the computer pick the prospects because I didn't want to stack my team with stud prospects. Not only that, I also put all of the manual injuries in, so if a team selected an injured player, he would be on the DL to start the year. Also, when I draft, I think it's too easy to pick players that you want, so I limit myself to whatever the CPU tells me to do (i.e., press Square).

All in all, looks like I have my work cut out for me. Hopefully my Defense carries our team and we luck into a couple wins for me. I'm just hoping our pitching doesn't blow up because I'm not sure how many runs we're going to score.
