I'm with you. We need more stadiums. Old ones like The Kingdome and Milwaukee County Stadium. Authentic minor league stadiums. I can't believe they took away more than half the ones available on ps3 still. Come on San Diego Studios...

OOTP is really an amazing baseball game but I'm not much for sports games on PC. I do have OOTP 15 & 16 though. I'm just a console person though. OOTP in depth & detailed franchise modes are quite unbelievable though. I think the best franchise/dynasty type modes in any sports game ever made.

No doubt though that The Show is the best baseball game ever made for any console. Some may argue that MVP Baseball 2005 was better for XBox & PS2 but I don't think so at all. Maybe it had a few features that were equal or better but not the overall baseball game.

Most of my ideas people have already mentioned, but I would really want an expansion/relocation mode, International FA's, editable/downloadable draft classes, and rainouts/doubleheaders in franchise. If franchise mode next year is remotely close to NBA 2K's in terms of features, then I would be excited. As for general improvements, replays should be expanded to like it is now in MLB and CPU should be able to challenge plays also.
As the lovely username suggests, yes I am a Braves fan and a Vols fan.

Better defensive animations. Especially at the catcher position.

More licensed equipment...(New Balance, Adidas, Easton...). They did an excellent job expanding it this year.

PITCHf/x. Not every slider is the same. Not every Sweeping Curve is the same. I don't necessarily mind the randomness of the break "angle" in this years version of the game, but I think it would be better if each pitcher had his own "range" of horizontal and vertical break. Basically just take his average horizontal/vertical break and make the range like 2-3 inches in each direction. That would give you 4-6 inches of variation, which i would guess is large enough to include just about all of a pitcher's sliders/curves/etc....

What if I wanted to start out as a 27 year old Cuban player in RTTS? or If I wanted to try something like Jim Morris The Rookie and start out as a 35 year old?
Also let me play until I'm 55 I want to pull off a Jamie Moyer or a Julio Franco

-More hairstyles and beard options they have been the same since 14

-Batting cages right now the batting practice option is a drill can you change it to where it's not a drill and you can just take some swings? Like this and this

-Make money mean something in RTTS let me use the money to either purchase drills, certain perks like a training program or diet that reduces the effects of aging so your skills don't decline fast kind, also performance bonuses in our contracts.

-Let me sign an agent and improve free agency. Let me tell my agent which teams I want to sign with in addition to receiving offers from interested teams. Right now you just receive random offers what if I want to sign with the Brewers but they don't offer you a contract right now you have to wait until spring training to "try out" for them and then they offer you a contract and thats if you make the team there have been a couple times where I failed to make the team and remained a free agent which sucked. Let me tell my agent to reach out to them and get working on a contract. Also let me ask for a no trade clause in my contract that could come in handy later on.

-Post game interview questions one of the things I like about NBA 2k is that our player speaks. I'd like to see that in The show. Keep it simple maybe 2 or 3 questions after a game and make them appear only occasionally. You don't even have to hire many voice actors I wouldn't mind having Ramone as the voice of my character :P

-Let me play as a DH if I'm in the A.L

-As a reliever or closer let me warm up in the bullpen before entering the game
            Adding to this

-Minor league rehab assignments if we get injured

-When we get older we might have to sign minor league contracts, and also being able to request our release.

Trackable individual awards, team records and past world champions, division champions etc. Player accolades should be included in the player card like NBA 2K has.
Tattoos. Even if they have to be fake for legal reasons at least have the option.
More hair options, more body types, different jersey types (tight, baggy).

Not sure if it's been mentioned but I'd love to see the line scores game by game on each players card similar to what I see on espn when looking at a players card. I'd love to be able to see how a batter does against each pitcher or at least team so I can identify guys that rake off certain teams and pitchers. It's probably too much for the stat engine but I can dream.

Maybe already mentioned but the innings grinding (commanding the team) mission gets old really quickly and many resort to cheesing through it just to get it done and out of the way. There must be some form of substitution for that can be used for this type of mission that would make it more engaging to use those teams. Maybe have different tasks per team (bat a certain percentage, amass a certain number of RBI's, get s certain number of wins....)something to actually make you not want to bunt every play.

Yes I want to see new catcher animations. The balls in the dirt are currently a TERRIBLE animation. It is basically a cut scene. This is a huge area to improve on. For animations I want fewer cut scenes in place.

I think in terms of Franchise mode - I want to see more in depth roster transactions. I'd love to see service time have more an effect. Let's take for example the 10/5 rights like Brandon Phillips, Edwin Encarnacion, Jose Bautista etc. It should be nearly impossible to trade these kind of players without consent or 5 team approval or something like that. Let's also add declining assignments to the minor leagues which then allows you to becoming a free agent.

I want to see more spot call up's too. A certain pitcher for example is struggling who's due up in the rotation, call up a young flame thrower for the day, see what happens. I also think "minor league options" needs to be enhanced...I remember one year the blue jays pitcher, Chad Jenkins was sent up and down more then 3x.

I want to see more signed to minor league contracts, more "invite to spring training" things of that nature.

I still think franchise mode hasn't hit it's peek yet and for a baseball game, still kind of weak.

                              MLB 17 Feature Wishes?

Something I'd like tweaked is the player moral system.

I don't always have my "ace" in the first slot due to situations that come up in the season. Injuries and all star break are just a couple examples. Also, if you stack your pitching with ace level pitchers, like the 90s Braves, that needs to be factored in.

Same with hitting. You have three star slots. What if you have more star caliber players?

One other thing is the financial side. Say you bring up a minor leaguer with a 75K salary. In real life, while he is up, he would get paid the MLB minimum wage. But in the game, his salary doesn't change and he becomes unhappy.

I also think, especially while it is ironed out these first few years with it, you should have a setup option to turn it off. Or better yet pick which factors are used.

It happened to me once in 15 I was the DH for the Royals but the next season they put me in at 1B and I ignored all of my fielding attributes letting them go all the way down but no luck I was still stuck at first.

I'd like to be able to request to become a DH and make it permanent
