With OSFM coming out this weekend, is this working? It appears above that it is not, which would be disappointing as the roster logic has been terrible in the past without human intervention. I was so sick of team with one bench player and 15 or 16 man bullpens. 30 team control really saved that. Set everything to CPU, re-visit teams when they have an injury. AI plays it smart and is life like in their transactions. Weird, but glad it works.

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
There is no down side IMO. You can set the other 29 teams to auto everything if you want, and simply step in and make any changes or trade reversals you want.
One to remember is when you play your game of your team that you run....make sure you go into the "view today's games" menu on the calendar and sim the rest of the games around the league so you can enjoy the score ticker in your game when you play. Otherwise there will be no games scrolling across the bottom!!
I use 30 team control to commish the league and monitor trades. I also use it to control the lineups for every major league team and make sure it is in line with the teams talent. For me it keeps me involved and immersed in the league.
I did not employ 30 team control in my Fantasy Cardinals draft and now wish I had done so. I feel slightly disconnected and also don't like the CPU lineup logic at times. I wish I could step in and correct some things, but I can't. I still love that file and continue to play it. But I wil never try single team control again with The Show.
They make is too easy to control all 30 teams, set various GM and scouting/training tasks to auto, but I can set lineups to manual and again, monitor and even recreate real life trades around the league (which I plan on doing this season in year one...after year one trades will happen and I will make sure I approve or disapprove them after the fact since we no longer have the trade delay function and they all seem instant now). Easy fix is simply reversing them after you get the trade notification. Not hard at all to do.
30 team is the only way to play if you like to go deeper in franchise IMO.Now Playing on PS5:

The only con is if you want to have the chance of being fired....it will not happen as GM goals is disabled in 30 team control.

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Has anyone gone through a few weeks with different profiles, one to allow some CPU management, and how has that played out with the "Auto" feature within the team screens? As someone mentioned earlier if I change the club I actively manage more during the year to manual in the Team screen it looks like all the clubs get changed to that, while their profile is set to auto manage some of those features. I can try some trial and error to see which direction is it taking but would appreciate feedback if anyone has been through this already.Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Im starting a franchise and I'm trying to maually add guys to the DL and it's not working. I remember doing this last year relatively easy. Am I doing something wrong or is this feature no longer in the game? Thanks.

I still remember all my first basemen getting injured in MVP 2005 diving.

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
I'm wondering the same thing. I've manually added injuries in the past and have injuries set to manual. I don't like the game to allow injuries during games but like injuries from real life to be in the game.

I just restarted my franchise and now everything is working. Not sure what happened. Ya injuries are ridiculous in the game. I love controlling all the teams and having every team with accurate DL and transactions.
