So going by the latest videos of MLB The Show 17 it looks like the numbers on the back of the players jerseys have been moved higher closer to the players name which is great. Back of players jerseys without names and just numbers is not yet confirmed to be fixed as in one of the videos the third base coach you can see the back of his jersey with no name has the number still too low.

And finally teams with numbers on the bottom front of there jersey also have the number way to low.

So can anyone compile screenshots of the Pirates black jerseys in the last several years of The Show? Someone said they've always been too light but I feel like they were never as bad as they were last year.

@Tnixen The pic of the 3rd base coach is from an old build. In the rest of the video and in the live stream you could tell that was before they upgraded the wall at Progressive field. So there may be a chance its fixed.

Has anyone in this thread brought up the strange greenish olive color of the Padres home alternate uniforms? They have the brown color correct in the Padres throwback uniforms, please just use the same shade of brown for the home alternates. The olive green color makes those jerseys unusable in the game and I'd imagine it's not difficult to fix. Here's a quick pic I took with the home alternate jersey paired with the home throwback cap to clearly show the difference between the two colors when they should be virtually identical...

This is from last weeks trailer. Looks like it didn't get fixed. Hopefully they update the color before release, but I doubt it.

Apparently the Marlins will be using Matte batting helmets this year as well. I'm trying to find a link for it.

Let me put the picture up of it. The Cards and Dodgers are the only 2 teams (so far) with 3D logos on batting helmets.

I doubt anything can be done about 3D helmet logos unless they somehow got the dodgers logo in. Helmets are probably like jerseys where they use the same template, just the finish (matte/gloss) can be changed with PBR. I could be wrong though.

It is now confirmed that EVERY alternate jersey that is in the style guide will be in The Show 17. Teams like the Dbacks and Padres will have more slots then other teams in order to include all the uniforms.

Looks like the collar piping on the Indians and Marlins has been corrected as well.

This years game is looking like a major jump from 16 to 17.
