Re: Problems and Issues with current/throwback Uniforms
Ahhh, yes. Look at that wrong shade of red for the Cards. I guess the style guide really loves dull colors. Oh and yeah the numbers too thin on the Dodgers.Comment

How about that huge gap between the number and the bottom loop of the lower case g on the Dodgers word mark?Comment

Re: Problems and Issues with current/throwback Uniforms
Yes. Belts are in the style guide. Again, anything represented on the body of the player uniform, falls under style guide regulations, including trim, undershirts & hats.
The only thing that has changed for 2017 is that MLB is now doing socks with different companies, and socks are no longer covered by the style guide.
The better question I would like answered is, how does this apply to Throwback uniforms? I have never understood in the game, other than game design itself, why throwback pullover jerseys, such as the Astros or Pirates, are represented as button-up jerseys with belts, when they were V-neck pullovers with elastic waist buttons in real life.
I'd love for that to change, and to actually reflect the 1970s/80s jerseys.Comment

That is why so many people have been asking for an overhaul in how the uniforms work within the game. As it stands now the uniforms take up a massive amount of disc space and only so many slots are able to exist for each team.
It is also a template that has existed for many years. One that only has button down jerseys and where the numbers all sit on the same place on the back, regardless of if the jerseys have a name or not on them.Comment

Re: Problems and Issues with current/throwback Uniforms
They could do with moving the numbers up on both the front and back of the jerseys. Additionally they need to actually use the exact width for the numbers on the front of the jerseys for almost every team that has front numbers.Mets//Jets//Knicks//Islanders//Orange//Dodgers//The U//Fl.
