Noticing from the stream that the Indians socks are still navy. Hope they can get them to red for the final build. That would be disappointing if not.

Undershirts, sleeves and belts as well.

Socks are no longer governed by the style guide.

I have faith they will get the red socks in for the Indians.

Someone contacted the Indians style guide rep or whatever, and his response was that undershirts aren't governed in the style guide, only jersey, pants and hats.

So the undershirts are up to SCEA to do correct.

Every year there are discussions about incorrect uniforms and style guide restrictions. The rockies with purple sleeves, this year the indians red sleeves and socks for their home and home alt uniforms. Well i contacted indians fan services asking if they could update their style guide so that the indians uniform would be correct in '17. Below is a copy of the email i received back from indians fan services. The styoe guide only pertains to the hats, jerseys and pants. Undershirts and socks are governed by the style guide. So hapefully now uniforms can be updated and corrected.

Thank you for your email. I assure you, we take every email and phone call seriously and try our best to assist with every fan request. The style guide you reference is sanctioned by MLB, and only effects the jersey, pants and hat. It does not reflect any change made of under dressings, including shirts and socks. I am not sure of the problem you reference in the video game, but will be happy to look into it further. Ultimately, there are a number of color combinations that are permitted by MLB and those are set to the discretion of the player at the time of the game.*

Yea what in the world happened to the cap brims option? It's still there but it's grayed out. Wonder why they don't allow us to edit that for existing players.

I hate the way the size of the logo on the hat changes when the players have a "curved" brim. If they could at least change that I would be happy.

This NEEDS to be added back. There are lots of players who are wearing the incorrect flatness of cap brim.

Just seems like it was such an odd thing to remove. Can't think of a single reason why it'd be gone. Also there are some players who could use a brim change as a different setting might actually look better on them. I'm a Marlins fan and Wei Yin Chen has the curved brim but it distorts and shrinks the cap logo and in reality he doesn't curve his brim that much anyways so for him I wish I could switch to the next setting which I believe is semi flat or maybe regular.

Almost 100% this is a player likeness issue. Russell liked one of my posts a few weeks back when I suggested that the cap brims were a player likeness issue.

It's pretty much the whole issue with not being able to edit beards and names for SCEA players. The MLBPA won't allow us to change certain things that are related to player likeness.

Im just really confused how cap brims are included in player likeness? If thats the case, we shouldnt be able to change anything for a player (equipment).

Yea this. How can cap brims be player likeness? Excellent point that if attire can be edited why can't cap brims be edited? Are cap brims listed in the style guide? Are players "assigned" a specific cap brim that they must abide by? It doesn't fit, doesn't make sense.

In regards to CAP brims. The answer I got from a CD guy was they removed it for SCEA players due to issues they were having with shadowing on the player's face. I asked if they would bring it back and I was told it's something they would look into fixing. Keep in mind though that was about a year ago things may have changed by now.
