Do you guys think the PS4 Pro is having increased sales because of The Show?

I honestly don't know how the Pro is doing sales wise. I bought mine at launch.

the guy at Best Buy basically told me Sony didnt think 4K would take over this fast. Idk how accurate that is but if the entire state of CA is out of stock thats a problem.

I honestly don't know how the Pro is doing sales wise. I bought mine at launch.

I've actually seen a few people buying the slim PS4 at walmart and I wouldn't say they were buying it for the show. Just didn't have that look of someone who would do that. I know that's weird but I think I can just tell.

I also think they are selling like crazy due to it being tax refund season.

I'm also surprised the pro is selling out. A close friend of mine went to GameStop and no store had any in stock. They had to order his and told him he'll get it in a week.

As someone who owns this TV I can tell you that it's 4K and HDR capabilities are underrated. The 43" panel has a contrast ratio in the neighbourhood of 5000:1 which if you look at TV's like the Sammy KS series or high end Sonys, they're not that much higher.

The Show is going to look absolutely stunning on this TV if games like Horizon are anything to go by. Kudos to the devs of The Show for giving us an HDR slider which is, to my knowledge, the first of its kind.

Horizon zero dawn sold nearly 3 million copies in just a few weeks. That my friends is why there are no ps4 pros to be found...

Yes called GameStop last week and was told they were out and are being sold pretty quickly. Was at a Walmart the other day as well just looking around and went to see if they had the pro and didn't see any. Saw about 6 slims though.

So I decided to take the plunge and bought a new TV and PS4 Pro to take full advantage this game. Got an LG 49UH60. I know its not a super amazing TV, but its 4k with HDR and I got it for a good price, so I'm pretty satisfied. I went yesterday to Gamestop to trade in my PS4 for a Pro, and I also was surprised to find that they were sold out at my local Gamestop (Cerritos, CA) and had to order one, and had to cough up the $20 for the 2-day shipping. Not super stoked about that as well as having to go without a PS4 for a couple days.

But in a week it'll all be worth it I hope!

Damn I must of got lucky. Walked into Gamestop a few weeks ago and just bought a pro. I wonder if it's a situation where they are selling like hot cakes or stores just are not ordering a bunch at a time.

Could be the case. At launch my gamestop only had 9 systems including preorders

I grabbed the last Pro in stock at my local Best Buy, two months ago. Kinda surprised they're still low in stock now. I guess ppl are finally giving in to buying one.

I just finally found a PS4 Pro today at Best Buy. Everyone inc. GameStop, Walmart, Best Buy etc has been completely sold out in the Boston area.

I'm pumped I got one before The Show released. Can't wait to see this game in 4K!
