Yeah, I would try slightly less than 50%, say 45% or so, on that HDR slider and then adjust from there as you see fit..

EDIT: be aware that when you change this slider it jacks up your picture so you'll need to restart the game. So here's what you'd do, go in and change the HDR slider to 45%. Quit the game, restart it and play for a bit, see what you think. If you don't like it, then adjust the slider, quit and restart the game and etc.

any help would be appreciated.
I have the ps4 pro and a 4K television, however i got a message saying the game will only be displayed in 2K HDR because of my tv settings.
My tv is supports 4k, where do I go to change this setting?

What's your tv settings? I think I've got it down where I like it but more options the better. Not many have posted with our tv.

After reading some of the stuff I read on this thread I'm going to try and help out a bit. I'll also try to explain what HDR does since it's quite obvious some here don't know.

That pic on the left is what people are expecting HDR to be because what most people have heard is that HDR does INCREDIBLY BRIGHT LIGHTING which is not exactly true. So when they see that pic that seems bright just from the loss of detail due to the way the sun looks there they say, hey that's how it should look!

This is part of why I think so many folks are in this thread and keep saying "when I use HDR my picture looks very dark"

Quick question, I have a PS4 Pro, but I play on a normal 1080p tv that doesn't support 4k or HDR. Can I play the game on high frame rate mode? Or do I need a new tv to take advantage of anything the PS4 would do for The Show?

Yeah, you'd definitely benefit by using the high frame rate mode. That's what I'd use if I were you.

Go into your PS4 visual settings and make sure everything there is set to Auto would be the first thing I'd recommend.

What TV model? It's possible that the HDMI connection you are using is not HDCP 2.2. Some brands only have 1 or 2 of the HDMI connections that will actually work with 4K.

It's a Sony Xbr55x850c.
I'm using the hdmi cable provided with the pro.

High framerate mode is the 1080p rendering mode on the Pro in this game . 1080p displays can, oddly, select EV and 4k but they aren't "real" in terms of 1080p displays. Switching to them does nothing. With a 1080p display and a Pro you will always be in high framerate mode with this game.

It's a nice boost in smoothness for sure.

HDMI cable is fine and all your connection HDMI ports are the same. What video output does the PS4 Pro tell you its doing when you go into Settings------>Sound and Screen-------->Output settings--------->Resolution
