I have been livestreaming my entire RTTS career so far and because the length of some are so long I can't edit them down. I also have some other gameplay mixed in with some streams but the majority is RTTS. Now after that has been said let's talk RTTS.

I created a RF named Clark Kent and did pretty good on Scout Day. So well in fact that I didn't play the showcase games and went for the draft. I got picked up in the 3rd round by the Florida Marlins. Was doing okay at Double A ball and they hit me with a curve asking me to play 1st base some. Clark being the team player went ahead with it and did pretty well at it. Shortly after the All-Star break he was called up to Triple A though. He struggled a little during the last part of the season but still managed to get a 1 year contract extension from the Marlins. Right after the extension he was traded to the Houston Astros though. Now he is hitting in the .270s with 6 HRs and over 30 RBIs. Recently he was just asked by the media if he thinks he will be called up soon. He was focused on the team and leaving the decision up to the GM and his managers though.

I haven't played since talking to the media but one other development is that he got picked up by an Agent at the same time as he made the jump to Triple A ball. Too be honest I was a little sad to see his HS coach and his Double A team go at the same time.

Right now he is filling in about 4 roles from time to time. RF/1B/DH and the occasional Pinch Hitter when it is a day off. His highlight game so far was one in which he went 3 for 4 with a 1 run HR in the bottom of the Ninth to tie the game. His team came through and got another score to win it.

What are the hairstyles like for black players this year? Do we finally have fades? Some dreads? Cornrows that don't look awful? Not trying to start race talk, just a question because I want to make a player who actually looks something like me when I pick up MLB 17.

There are some good fro's and fades, although I'm not sure if the fades would be better suited on a hispanic player, as hispanic athletes fades tend to be different looking from a black athlete. I don't think there are any dreads or cornrows in game. I will check again next time I'm on.

I think you'll find a hairstyle that suits you. This is my first show game, so I don't know how deep past hair styles were, but there was plenty to chose from. There's about 5 fade styles to chose from. I didn't check for dreads

I was just playing a game there, and after running out a groundball I was told my player was injured and had to be replaced. However, nothing happened and I was able to continue playing centre field and taking ABs. I thought nothing of it until after the game and I was told I had broken my shin and had to be put on the 60 day DL.

Has anyone else had this. I was promoted to the Yankees from AAA. I could not believe how much better the graphics got. The graphics were crisp w/ amazing detail & the scoreboard overlay was completely different (color, size, setup, etc.). If this was intentional, it was a nice touch for making the show. If not, I guess I'm just a moron. lol.

No dreads, no braids but there are a few that are pretty good. These are the ones I like the most(and had time to screenshot before leaving), I think there are a couple more but for the most part I think these are pretty good hairstyles for a black player.

After getting drafted by the Cubs as a 3rd baseman and splitting the year between AA and AAA I began the next season in the show on the bench. I also play 1B and catcher and they've been spot starting me mostly at first and as a pinch hitter.

One thing I've noticed is that there aren't alot of interactions and conversation choices in the 2nd year unless you have a great game and then the batting coach talks to you. I haven't heard from my agent in ages lol. Has this happened to anyone else in their 2nd season?

Looking for a trade from the Yankees, spent my second season in AAA Scranton but spent a lot of the year out with a fractured arm. I did play well in my at bats and expected to be back with the AAA team when renewed. I was Completely wrong. Sent back to AA, and now there is too many 3rd basemen on the entire roster from AA to the MLB [emoji21].

I love the new RTTS dialogue but I wish that there was some kind of interactions menu for situations like yours.
