Hmm. I didn't think of it from that aspect. It's something the agent could have mentioned for sure.

Also let's say your team wants you to sign a long term contract and you don't want to.Just lower your money demand until they agree and give you player option to renew.

Does potential matter in RTTS since I'm training myself?

Also how do you increase your potential?

In past versions when I actually made it to free agency and was playing for my favorite team I always counter offered a teams contract by taking the yearly salary down to 1 million, hoping that would allow them budget room to sign others.

Made a 1B with 3B/C as secondary. Drafted by Jays im 2nd round. DHd for the first month or two. They then moved me to LF. Fielding is average. However im up to a 60 or so. Late in AA season. 9 HRs, around 80 RBIs, batting average i the 330s and a steal. No mention of being called up at either level...

As a SS which team would be the best to get drafted to?

I got to the big game at AA All-star break. At a 71 LF. I can't get above a .250 batting average but the Twins suck. LoL.

Sigh. I've been really improving my SS on the Rays AAA affiliate. Made the Futures game, hitting around .280 with 5 HRs, 20 RBIs, and 35 SBs. Got my guy up to a 72 overall with the Rays starting SS at a 75 or 76 and then they trade for Tulowitski. I think I'll have to wait a little longer for my call up now haha

Looking for a trade from the Yankees, spent my second season in AAA Scranton but spent a lot of the year out with a fractured arm. I did play well in my at bats and expected to be back with the AAA team when renewed. I was Completely wrong. Sent back to AA, and now there is too many 3rd basemen on the entire roster from AA to the MLB [emoji21].

Wound up getting called back up to triple A, I made it a point to dominate AA pitching (.420 BA and 13 HRs through June). I knew the number of 3rd basemen through the roster would be a problem.

Played a couple of weeks in AAA and I had the manager call me into his office. He said the Yankees management wanted me to move to first base, which I don't want to do. I find first to be kind of boring and I was already moved to 3rd base in my first minor league season. Decided I would stick to my convictions with my manager and my agent. I want to stay at 3rd. Ended up getting benched and ultimately traded to the Mariners organization.

A little annoyed, I wanted to be a Yankee but now my goal is to destroy them every time we play them, when I get to the show that is. Just hoping Seattle doesn't do the same thing and ask me to change positions again. Maybe I'll go work on my pitcher for a bit

So I started my RTTS with the latest OS roster I could find in 16. I also had 99K stubs there that would officially go to waste so I converted them all into skill points for my new RTTS player. I used roughly 20K. Once the player was created (CF) I uploaded the RTTS to 17. Edited his appearance and everything else there. Played the drills and the showcase and got drafted in the first round by CLE.

I hit .400 in double A and got selected to the futures game and the AA all star game. Just after that point I got called up straight from AA to the MLB. While in AA I was asked to switch positions (which I said I was open to). Coach stuck me in right for about 10 games and put me back in center once that period was over.

The jump from AA to the majors was night and day. I struggled (IMO) in the majors after the call up and finished the season .286/.355/.590 with 22 HR's, 53 RBI's in 67 games. We won the division and got to the ALCS where we played Boston. I hit around .350 in the playoffs if I remember correctly but we lost in 7 games to BOS (i'm a real life Yankee fan so you already know how I felt).

Moved on to year two and I started to get use to the game at the major league level. Won MVP/Silver Slugger/Batting Title. Also won a triple crown (game doesn't recognize it). Slashed .341/.423/.709 (59HR, 181RBI)(80BB, 46SO). I stole 49 bases and missed 50/50 by one lol. Went on to hit close to .400 in the playoffs. Won Playoff MVP (Lindor won WS MVP). We won the WS over the Mets in 5 games.

I'm now in the beginning of the third season. Second of a 5 year 30 Mil contract I signed after my rookie year. I have asked my agent to move me (I like CLE but they are stacked and I do really want to try and get on my Hometown Yankees). My best friend who is just a little ahead of me got drafted by ARI and has been traded twice (at his request) to OAK, and then to PIT. CLE has shown a reluctance to trade me and I don't think that's changing anytime soon.

All in All i've enjoyed my time in RTTS and intend on spending a lot more time there.
you actually wouldn't have lost those stubs if you didn't use them on 16, lol. I thought the same thing so I used all mine to get training points the day before 17 came out but I had like 900 left over, and when i got 17 those 900 carried over.

I made it to the AA All-Star game as a CP. I struck out in one inning of work. I was immediately called up to AAA. So far, I'm 2 for 2 in save opportunities. The RailRiders are 7games up so there is a good chance we'll make the playoffs.

Manager brought me in, telling me the Rockies needed help at LF (a position I had agreed to attempt) and I was all jazzed that I was getting called up, but nope

they're just like "dude they need a lf so you should stick with this" and I'm like "yeah dude I mean I know they do why would you have switched me to lf in the first place" and the manager was like "uhh" and I went out the next game and raked 4 doubles and stared down the manager and the big league scouts after each one

I made a 3rd baseman with backup position being the outfield.. Maxed out 3 of the 5 points in fielding before the showcase.. I ended up getting drafted with the 6th pick in the 1st round to the Athletics. One of my favorite teams so I can't wait to see where it goes.

So I've restarted my RTTS with the OSFM roster set. This time things went a little differently. First set of Showcase games I didn't play that well and got drafted 3rd round by the Padres. Went to JUCO and played a little better in the second set of games. First round pick 10 by the White Sox. I took a gamble and went to a 3 year university. Played the best set of games and was rewarded by getting drafted #1 overall by the Twins. Ready to take AA by storm with the Lookouts!
