I haven't played in nearly a week. I'm leading the Southern League in BA and RBI. However, since I haven't played in a week, I expect to suck it up the next few games.

Started up a SS and a SP -

My SS got drafted by the Pirates - started off really hot but have cooled off considerably a month into the season. (Went through a huge funk with my swinging/hitting ability in this game). I've also yet to hit a homerun even though I've plugged quite a few points into the power categories

I really love what they've done with the fielding and running though - I havent played the Show since 15, but damn, its alot more fun than it used to be.

I like what I've done with my SP, Roosevelt Preacher too. Gave him a FB, 12-6, and a circle change. Was drafted by the D-Backs and have made a few very solid starts for the Jackson Generals so far.

I like where I ended up with my drafts - here's hoping I make these dudes legends.

Is normal in AA for your created outfielder to be switched to a new OF position just about every game?

I have a CF whose being switched between all three every game!

That's cool imo. That gives you multiple chances to play. To answer the question though, yes, this year they seem to have incorporated the manager having you play multiple positions. Probably to help make the game less stagnant.

Does anyone know what's going on with RTTS batting tendencies for your created player? I've restarted and created 10-15 players and every time I get 33-Left 34-Center 33-. I want a pull hitter, but apparently its not an option in this years game. Really frustrating hitting so many pitches oppo field.

I am very disappointed with rtts. The AI is dumb specially on my team. They never play small ball. And also when on base you can pretty much tell when its 0-2 that they will strike out. I play the action pitches. And i wish i didn't have to play all plays as a fielder to get points for routine plays when playing at 1st.

Well so far my rtts shortstop isn't going as expected. I got drafted by the Yankees and soon after I was asked to move to 3rd. I did it and said to coach my goal was to play shortstop. They sent a coach to tell me to focus on fielding.

Played rest of year at 3 crushed it in AA an was promoted to AAA after all star break. Signed new deal for AAA. Now I'm crushing it at 3rd and they are asking me to move to LF. I'm higher overall at shortstop with improved fielding.

I'm frustrated the conversation doesn't even remember my original goal was to be a shortstop. It just pushes for me to stay at third. I feel like a wasted my chance of ever playing shortstop with this player.

I restarted my RTTS after something similar happened to me. Went from SS to LF because they needed me there, got called up and couldn't see any way to go back to SS. I made a new guy and have been more firm with my convictions to stay at SS..I'm still in AAA ball because Tim Anderson (white sox) is in my way but either they see I'm doing better than him or I get traded..Either way I'm staying SS but I would contemplate 2nd or 3rd..Just not outfield.

You're required to go back to the clubhouse because a roster move has been made but in some cases I can't tell what exactly was done. I haven't seen anything on the social media feed either. Also.... have any of you seen your team make moves to get better before the trade deadline? Playing for Seattle and we're really just a good #3 and # 4 pitcher away from being really good....but the deadline came and went with no moves.

I was wondering this same thing. They pull you out of the game because a move was made only for you to go back to the menus and not see the transaction and go right back into the game. The transaction screen from franchise mode should be in rtts as well. Also, the same way they pull you out for roster moves they should pull you out for cutscenes and training sessions as well. My rtts character had no training sessions until I backed out mid series and tried to go back in then I got a cutscene about an instructor coming in to help me. I think I would've missed this if I hadn't backed out mid series on my own
