As we sit here today, little to no value. Mid 30's knuckleballer heading into arb for the first time that hasn't proven he's gotten over the manager-induced injury last year. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't even make the Red Sox roster next year.

If he finds "it" in '17, slightly different conversation. But if he finds it, why would you trade him? Unless you're like me and hate pitching with the knuckleball in the video game.

Yes I hate it. Also I see him as an asset who has years of control left. I am only gonna move him if he has a great year and try and capitalize on his two good years in a row. I see it as an RA Dickey scenario (I do not expect a return like that), but a sell high on a guy I don't necessarily see as a huge part of my future. So for conversation say he gets 16 wins with an ERA in the 3's. What could I get?

The White Sox would definitely ask for Barreto. Quintana is really valuable. If he was going to be traded for a couple B prospects and a C. He would have already been dealt

I don't see this. The Indians absolutely love Jose Ramirez and just gave him a new contract. Not to mention they have locks at SS, 2B, 1B, and DH as well so nowhere to really move guys around to accomodate him.

The Indians have a pretty stacked roster, I really only see them as bullpen/bench buyers and not big name players this year like they were with Miller last year.

I could see Ramirez being moved to the outfield when kipnas comes back to fill possibly the hole in right field if Longoria came in. He has a pretty good contract and would solidify a WS run. My manager is a huge Inidans fan and has mentioned this before as well

As someone who is going to tackle the A's this year, I am very interested in doing business on Davis. I also have no interest in Jackson but we could probably put our heads together and find a home for him after we do this deal.

How attached are you to Y. Diaz? I'm not in front on my console so I don't know how we have him rated in game so if I've priced myself out of the market, we can talk about G. Mejia (assuming he made it to the OSFM roster) and a decent farm hand I can look to add to my bullpen next year. You didn't give a slash (plus SB's) for Davis but I can assume he's getting the job done (or will be when you trade for him).

The A's need athletes and will be willing to move on from Davis as he's pushing 37 and is a rental. Giving you lots of rope here as I recognize your user id and know you can value players just as well as the rest of us.

Not really overly attached to Yandy, with that said he was given a B potential on the OSFM set so not sure I'd part with him on this deal.

What would you think of replacing Diaz with Giovanny Urshela? Same age as Diaz but C potential.

If you going to sim, get to the dealine and give numbers for Darvish along with teams making a playoff push. That will narrow down the possibilities and make it easier to put a deal together. Fair warning: you're probably going to be disappointed as the deal will be for much less than in the past with the changes to the QO, teams know what you're trying to do. 15 starts of Darvish will not net the return it would have last year (injuries aside). That being said, last rumor I heard was that Texas was going to get every opportunity to re-sign him. Obviously you're a TX guy, what's the local sports talk radio saying (just out of curiosity)?

We know what Lucroy is at this point, look for an AL club with an injury at catcher.

What does the bold mean? I will probably do 30 team, so I could make whatever deal would seem fair. I don't think I mentioned in my origianl post that I was doing 30 team.

From what I gather, Texas will have a chance to resign, but asking price will be too much.

I'm definitely not saying it won't happen lol, I just don't see it in their cards. They gave up a nice chunk of their top guys last year netting Miller. I just don't see them gutting their system a lot more than they already have, that's why they went out this off season and spent money on Encarnacion instead of having to spend their prospects later this season.

Again definitely could happen, I just don't see it. The Tribe likes to build from within and it's what's got them to the position they're at now and I don't see them changing the organizational approach to drastically.

Yes they haven't however it has gotten them the team and has them, set-up like they are now. Also I think I thought you were on the other side of this. I thought you were looking to deal Longo, but now I think your CLE and see trying to get him?

Well where are you at in the season? What are the records? How is Longo's stats?

Diaz deserves it. I think Indians fans are going to be happy with what they see in him.

Urshela + Brown and it's a deal. Urshela doesn't have a home in Cleveland and Kime (I had to look up both him and Brown) seems to walk every other batter he faces. Keep me in mind at the deadline, if your bullpen is hurting, I have arms to to add to Davis but by that point, you may have more affection for Diaz.

This is also one of those minor deals we can point back to in a few weeks about how to set value. Good trade.
