LeMahieu for those no, just no. Matz the Mets aren't giving up at least not this year. The Red Sox are to all in after the Sale trade to want to trade Price as well.

Now Paxton I could see you work on something out for him. Seattle has already showed they're willing to deal, and I saw Walker with more upside than Paxton especially after his reinvention late last season.

I'm in game right now so can't see the roster but a deal for Paxton could definitely be set-up. I would say 2 B's one SP, one position player, and any C potential guy since Paxton's a lefty.

Can't get Quintana and keep Reyes. No way at all on Price. Paxton would cost a fortune since the Mariners are in it.

You basically can't get a #1 and keep Reyes. You could get a fringe #2 if you put a package with Kelly and Delvin Perez. And I think you asked about Wong and Peralta earlier. They aren't real valuable. But Wong has more value

Yah I was looking to replace Wong or Peralta. I know they don't have much value but they could be a bench/platoon player for me if needed. I love the Gordon idea. I just don't know what would be the best/realistic offer to give for him.

I actually think it depends on what the playoff team is looking for. If they're really in need of a bat I would actually say Peralta has more value. Now if they're looking for a okay to good contact hitter with a better than his bat glove, then Wong has more value.

I'd say Peralta has more value in the AL, and Wong has more value in the NL.

Agreed that getting any two of those players is a long shot I was more or less asking what would it take realistically for the cardinals to acquire one of those players. You think if I give up Wong and Bader that'd be enough for LeMahieu? I love Gordon just wasn't sure if a trade for him was feasible.

If not Quintana what about Matz, Price or Paxton?

D. Gorgon is attainable. I would not be surprised if he's put on the market IRL at the deadline. Losing J. Fernandez (as any STL or KC fan can attest to a certain extent) was a franchise crippling loss and they are going to need to simply go a different direction. You just can't lose a young star like that and expect to bounce back (though STL has done a decent job of it). Go to the other side of the LeMahieu trade, would you do that deal? Go from him to Wong playing 2B? Nah.

D. Price will retire as a Red Sox as they won't give him up now since they traded for Sale and nobody is going to want that contract at the end. Paxton could be an option as I have no idea what they are trying to do in Seattle and your guess is as good as mine when it comes to the Mets. We can come up with scenarios as NYM has had a good, young rotation for a few years now and haven't been able to do anything with it.

Q is a farm emptying trade and if he is your target, you might want to get used to Wong. You can look around on the MLB trade rumors and see what type of packages that were discussed for him to get an idea of the comps you need to look at.

Settle in and play some games. I'm all about challenging the Cubs and if you're willing to sell the farm to try and beat them, I'm in.

First I wanna say thanks everyone for the messages for following my franchise so far this season but we are at our fist obstacle...catcher. The Rangers put Chirinos on the trade block and I am looking at possibly snatching him up. My catchers are terrible with Castro and Gimenez. I have no top prospects even close to the cusp of helping my club this year and Ben Rortvedt is 3-4 year away. Chirinos is not a big name player so I was hoping I could snag him for cheap. I was thinking of giving away A prospect like Adalberto Mejia but would that be too much? Also, Polanco is playing like complete crap and Nick Gordon may be up sooner then I expected. Again, thanks for following the franchise fellas! Let me know what you think about the trade.

Thank you all very much for the feedback! It's helped me a lot, I'm gonna sit until about late May and see what injuries have occurred in pursuit of a position player but I'm gonna trade for Paxton in the mean time. Much appreciated!

I am the Yankees and want to trade for trout. Am willing to give up any prospects other than Torres and Sanchez.

Angels terrible record 20-58

Trout is hitting .291 13 HRs 41 RBIs in 68 games

Tyler Austin which has raised his pot to an A is hitting .305 7 Hrs 30 RBIs in 70 games playing 1st base because bird got hurt

I just called Jordan Montgomery up to the MLB after going 9-1 in AAA with an ERA of 1.03.

Everyone else seems to be hitting and pitching what I would consider normal for their rankings.

Yeah that was the plan. The angels have to do something otherwise they are looking at a 8-10 year rebuild. At least dumping contracts and trading trout they can start to rebuild with a bunch of prospects. Instead of waiting year after year of first round picks. It has to happen if a team is willing to take the terrible contacts.

They have him through 2020. Why should the Angels just give you the best player in the world and let you keep your best young players. Yoan Moncada was a part of the Chris Sale deal. Moncada is better than Torres. Trout is a much better player than Sale.

You are just looking at trout and saying noway but you aren't thinking one guy can't carry a team and the angels are aware if they can hit the reset button they will. It's just no one is willing to take the crap contracts yet but unfortunately the angels will never be anything with trout and they know that.

Well the real reason I said that is because the only team that could really match the offer of the Yanks would be the Braves, and if they give up the pieces to get Trout they wind up in the same position as the Angels are.

It's really more about what there is to get in the market as opposed to Trouts value.
