What about a rebuilding Angels team to get Trout or not as high profile player like Harper even though the nationals are not rebuilding but isnt a 99 OVR playerLast edited by Powertoyourhead; 03-28-2017, 06:33 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Near the middle of 2016, many were kicking around the idea of the Royals trading Yordano Ventura for Puig straight up. Giving both players sort of a fresh start in a new place since both were struggling.
I'd say a MLB ready, potential 3rd to 5th starter who has the upside of a #2 would be a good place to start. I'd throw out names, but I don't know the Blue Jays farm system or 40 man very well. The Dodgers have a lot of injury-prone or very young starters on their roster, so getting one in return for Puig would be a top priority I'd think.Comment

What about getting Sean Doolittle or Sonny Gray or both to MN. both have more control and I'd be willing to part with anyone not named Buxton or Mauer(NTC).Comment

Ugh, that's so tempting. I'm restarting my Twins 'chise when OSFM drops and I need pitching in any form and the Twins don't have anything close to a good closer with Perkins being on his way out. Only bummer is that I dont want to give up Gordon and Jay for a rental... even if it is Britton.

I plan on starting my usual Franchise with the Rangers when OSFM drops. Is there a realistic deal that doesn't include Mazara in which I could get Christian Yelich?
Also, any thoughts on returns I should aim for if I deal Darvish at the deadline?Comment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Wil Meyers was just signed to a $80 Million dollar extension over the next 6 years. Doubtful he moves also. Then again the Padres are an absolute circus right now but there have been speculations that this move was to secure something to rebuild the franchise around.
Two guys off the top of my head who the Mets were actually rumored to be interested in for an all-in push were KC's Moustakas and Cain if the Royals were not in a position to contend around the trade deadline as both players will hit FA next year.Comment

What's his value? Considering the Mets werent willing to give up Conforto, I'm not overly optimistic.Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit TigersPittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay PackersDetroit Red WingsComment
