Anyone landed with the A's or White Sox with your player? Just curious how seasons go with them.

Yep, just got the training session for adding a pitch now, I'm in MLB and I think mid July.
It is in the bottom group and you have to scroll down to see them all. What is offered is dependant on what the pitchers in your team use so if your chasing a knuckleball you probly aren't go to see that offered, I see - Sinker, a change, a curve, Slider. I'm going to set a save point and see if the curve and change have different selections like a Circle Change and 12/6 Curve.

Good to know. Hopefully I get what I'm looking for.

all it will do is show the H/9 increase
Look at the circle fill around the 80. You are gaining progress, but will either fill the circle and go to 81 or you are just short of filling the circle. So likely you are increasing the velo to 80.XX.

            Does this help?

^^Would love some elaboration on this one.

^^Wanted to comment on this one. I'm playing SS/2B and there are times that I don't get + to reaction as well. IDK if it is time based (meaning I didn't press towards the ball quick enough) or a bug. But I'd guess that this person is having the same thing happen to them in the OF. So idk that it is related to using R3, because I don't ever use it in the IF
              My pleasure!

Reaction is gained much like last year. If you react, within a certain window of time, then you receive gains. You may be in that neutral zone. I would suggest looking at the breakdown screen and seeing if it appears there. If it does, then it might be a bug in the on-field display. Let me know if it does appear there and not on-field.

ok during my training sessions i have the options for a)bullpen b)practice field and c) training facility. each of them always offers only 3 different options at the moment....when you say scroll down are you saying they offer more than 3 later on? cause adding a pitch has never been in any of the 3 so far

Is this because I am still early in my career? As I progress will the pitchers ever thrown breaking balls? It's really the off speed stuff I need to work on not the heat. Yes I know I could go into the main practice area where pitchers throw all sorts of stuff. But I can't use my RTTS player there so I would rather do BP in the RTTS domain.
Is this every RTTS batting practice, or have you just done one?

EDIT: It looks like this was answered previously.

                    Mid-June update:

From here forward I'll be moving up to Legend difficulty, after gauging my skill with zone hitting in this year's game, and a few other factors (one of which is strikeouts). And there is only one way to play true Legend difficulty in AA - Dynamic Difficulty. I worked my dynamic level up to Legend last night on my RTTS profile (Player lock is really helpful with that) , then zeroed the sensitivity slider and will be ready to go with it for real the next time I play RTTS.

Questions for those in AAA/the Bigs:

How long did it take you to get called up?
What was your overall rating at the time?
What was your stat line like at the time?

Have a Powerhouse RF on the Pirates who hit .370 with 40 homers and 110 RBIs for the season on dynamic difficulty. No call up.
Have a Plain Filthy SP on the Braves who has averaged starts of 6 innings, 1-2 hits/walks, 13-15 K's, and an ERA under 1 on rookie for the last season and a half. No call up.

There are also no options to train during the offseason at all. Even if those are supposed to show up in the bigs, that is a tragically terrible design flaw.

Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

                        Answers:

                        1. You gain in Arm Strength, through Focus Training sessions and not in game.

                        2. This sounds like you have earned enough points to increase one attribute to a new whole amount (51->52 or 53, etc.), while the others are progressing partially (51 1/3 -> 51 3/4). Certain attributes cost more than other to increase.

                        Does this help?

I can’t take a pic and post it on here but I would show you. Every time arm strength is in Focus Training it says something like “You can not train this attribute” even tho I’m not even near the cap. As for the three attribute training thing, one attribute you can see is going up but the other two attributes will have two dashes and no movement at all. If I need to I can send a pic of it wherever you need me to.

Also, is there any way for y’all to show the swing analysis after a ball has been in play in RTTS?? It’s frustrating as crap to think that I put the PCI right on the money but then to just get a lazy pop fly. That probably means that I got under it but it’d be nice to be able to see the swing analysis after a live ball instead of just on foul balls or swing and misses.

I made it to triple A after the allstar break and I am in spring training with the big club. I was a 66 or something like that overall and now I'm a 71. I had around your stats with a plain filthy archetype too.

I agree there should be training in the off season

Are you only able to improve your batting when you are hitting as DH now. I notice that I no longer get other options on my off days to improve fielding, was this changed?
