One thing that I am liking is that I am seeing quite a few trades to start my season. While that may seem "off" to some, what is happening are teams are balancing out their rosters. Teams that were overloaded at certain positions are moving those guys to teams that need depth at that position in return for depth at positions they need.

Kind of strange to see trades like this in April, but nice to see the CPU actually trying to make smart decisions with their rosters.

And thus far there haven't been any crazy trades where teams have traded a top prospect for a lesser talent or anything of the sort.

Loving the game so far. By far the best of the series to date. But I wish some of the celebrations would be toned down. I get tired of seeing a player hitting a single during the top of the first and acting like they hit a walk off in the World Series.

I think it was 2 years ago on balls hit up the middle the pitcher would reach straight down on balls hit to his left, or right. So far, after 5 games that appears to be back. Have yet to see a CPU pitcher stab a relatively hard hit ball on his left, or right.

Maybe this has already been said but the ball physics when ball hits the bat and put into play is a thing of beauty! The way the ball curves either left or right. I never seen the ball behave like this before and I've been playing the MLB Baseball since 2004. This new ball physics is definitely noticeable and improved. Nice!

I wish this game had defensive indifference in allowing an inconsequential runner to take second base without being contested in the last inning (and two outs).

It does. Saw it a pair of times in the same game the other day. I was down 12-2 at the time.

Didn't happen in my game. I was down by maybe four runs and tried to take off against an unshifted defense. They not only tried to pick-off once (this is a part of it, the first baseman was holding me when he should be off the bag for the hitter), and with decent timing on my steal attempt they went out of their way to cover the bag and nail me by a hair to end the game.

Just had a terrible timed one just now. Just completed the Karros and Murphy conquest missions in the same game after tons of grinding. Game ends, server lost.

Anyone else feel like difficulty increased after patch 1.05?

I was playing on default Legend due to the pitch speeds, but after the patch and playing a few games, it seems the game is harder. Playing currently on default HoF (where I've played for years) and it feels like it default Legend did out of the box.

Anyone here have any impressions on DD?

I’ve only played a few games and I’m building my team. Have a quite a bit of gold and some decent arms. Does anyone feel they made hitting way easier this year? I find it very difficult to get Ks this year. It seems there’s contact on everything including out of the zone, in the dirt, out and in.

I do. Hitting feels different to me. Unfortunately it feels more like last year then it did out of the box. Not a good direction imo. You seeing the same?
