Bryant should have two more years of control. It would take a pretty serious haul to get him I’d say. And honestly I can’t really think of any package that would do it.

Im in 2020. Cubs missed playiffs in 2019 and are out of it now. At the deadline. Bryant has 19 HR, 76 RBI and batting .297

Re: Official MLB 19 the Show Trade Discussion

        Hello everybody.

I am looking for an opinion from the people from the chat.

Running a franchise with the Marlins
At the end of April 2019 I have a 8-21 record.
I struggle mostly because of a my bullpen often i get close games until the late innings and then... it screws up
So improving my bullpen is a priority.

A.J.Ramos is in FA and wants 3.8M for a two years contract.

But... the Yankees have Kahnle in the block and Coulombe in the minors.
I like both (played a lot with Coulombe with MLB the Show 18).
        They look for a SS.

Apparently they would accept the below trade

        Marlins send 2B Castro

Yankees send RP Kahnle, RP Coulombe and SS Tulowitzki

Do you think it would be a fair trade ?
Another option would be removing Tulo.

          Hey everyone,

I'm really at loss on what to do with the Rays franchise during ST of 2020 season. I've never seen such a collection of cost controlled middle infielders before and I don't know how they will (in real life too) go about making the most of all of them.

They have 7 second baseman that are 79OVR and better, 6 of them 25 or younger.
          B Lowe 93 ovr A pot
          N Solak 87 ovr B pot
          T Walls 86 ovr B pot
          C Arroyo 85 ovr B pot

just to name as few. As well as 3, A potential shortstops in
          Adames 87 ovr,
          Brujan 86 ovr
          Franco 82 ovr.

They dont really have a weak spot on the roster with 3 aces in Snell, Honeywell and McKay, depth in the SP ranks, fine C in Zunino, 3B presumably filled with one of the amazing 2B, OF is strong.

Maybe the bullpen could be improved or so more power added to the lineup. But it feels like there are legitimate 6 great starting middle infielders for the next 5 years.

How would you go about moving some of their pieces so that they can make the most of them?

Camargo is hitting better so I'm planning on moving Acuna to CF and Camargo to LF.

Teams that are out of it are pretty much the ones expected in real life. Willing to include any prospects except for Soroka, Fried, Pache. Who would be at least a somewhat realistic target?

What would it take to get Miguel andujar from the Yankees? I’m the indians, I offered Salazar, Luplow and Bobby Bradley.

It was accepted in game, just curious what you guys think about that trade. Salazar is healthy in the game obviously

FWIW Brujan will probably shift to CF. Adames and Franco project as the left side of the infield for the future. I would personally use Solak, arroyo and Walls to trade for a 1A/2 starter to pair with Snell

                  Ah thats good to know!

The timing might work out for Pham to move on to FA when Brujan gets called up since I would imagine they would delay him for awhile if they could.

My issue is you can't really pair two 2Bs together in the same trade right? So you almost have to make separate trades with each of Solak and Wells

If this was my team I'd cash in on Pham or Kiermaier by 2020 and collect higher end prospects to pair with a Solak type for a top tier controllable young starter. The other guy could help you acquire a bullpen arm.

Makes sense. What's a good package there? I definitely want to trade Inciarte. I'm sure Riley would have to be included and a pitching prospect. Maybe Wright/Anderson in this case?

Currently at May 11 and starting to think of offers for Smoak now that Sanchez has been traded.

Smoak is off to a hot start with a line of .279/.350/.542 with 11 HR and 18 RBI in 148 ABs.

Teams who are in the mix who could use 1B are the Yankees, Angels, Marlins (yes they are 4 games back of a WC) and Rockies. Rangers, Astros and Mets might also listen.

I don’t want to give him to the Yankees but if the deal of amazing I would take it. Angels and Rockies seem the best partners.

What kind of surplus am I looking to get back so I can look into deals? Or, do anyone have any ideas of potential deals?

Andujar probably isn’t far off from being untouchable. Yankees don’t really have much to gain from trading a cheap young controllable player like Andujar who’s already contributing to their MLB club. Only scenario I see where they deal Andujar to Cleveland is as the headliner in a package for Kluber.

I’m about to pull the trigger on this Lucas Duda deal I’ve been talking about. Last minute thoughts?

Royals are 17-18 and Duda has 7 home runs and 20 RBI. Exactly the kind of production I need to replace at least part of what I’ve lost with Rizzo. You guys will think a mid-20’s, B to C rated pitcher gets him straight up? The Royals are practically giving him away on the game.

You can test Duda for a High C and be perfectly fine.

Duda has no value. Even with Rizzo hurt for you, not like Cubs would give anything of value for Duda for rest of season. Pretty sure he's already been on 2 teams IRL this year.
