just had a game where everything clicked I went off! Had a 9 run top of the first and put up 22 total vs the Nationals. Won 22-4. Probably the most I've ever scored in any Show game. Machado hit 3 home runs to lead the charge.

Damn you've had that same franchise for 6 actual years/editions of MLB the Show? 😮

yeah but I just play 1 season every year because of schedule issues like such as rotating interleague and whatnot. still got Andrelton and my Up Up & Away OF, Melvin Upton even ''decided'' to go back to being BJ. I was also able to pick back up Jair Jurrgens again and he was a starter for awhile before he finally was demoted to the 'pen. I do regret not ever having Folty but at least I'll still have Teheran come the '20 season. carry-over saves are great. I'd probably get back into Madden if EA had it.

I think I’m going to actually keep it going as the thought of starting over is so frustrating.

That means having to redo the offseason so I can fix the issue but I’m going to do it.

I hate it but I’d rather do this than start over

Well I started over and fixed my issue so I'm pretty happy. The re-doing the offseason is still frustrating but its not as bad as I thought.

Seen some similar signings as well as roster moves

2026 White Sox Franchise - Playoffs

The 2026 World Series Champions are the Chicago White Sox.

The White Sox blew through the playoffs like a run away freight train. Sweeping the Wild Card winning Baltimore Orioles in the Division Series and then sweeping the Texas Rangers in the ALCS and then sweeping the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series.

Time for the off season and then onto MLB 20.

The White Sox have only one player on the current MLB 25 man roster with an expiring contract in Jose Abreu at age 39. With that said the Sox really don't have any needs heading into the offseason, except maybe some minor league depth. I have an itch to blow this team up as this team is way too good.

Have had thoughts of ending the franchise as well, but I think I will continue it in MLB 20. It is tempting to end it though. Having won three World Series Championships now, is there really much to do in it anymore?

Anyone else have this issue?

I'm playing my carry over franchise going on year 2030. Just finished playoffs, first full season on MLB The Show 19 and once I went to the offseason, it automatically resigned a few of my top players.

I wanted to QO them as I don't want to extend them and just keep them on 1 year deals if they wanted to stay. But instead, it signed some to massive extensions automatically. None of these moves show up in the transaction history.

I have the contacts setting to 'manual' from the start but it still resigned.

World Series to be decided in 7th and final game

The 2024 World Series will be decided in game seven as the Mets again tied the series in a game six victory that was as impressive as the Sox game 5 win.

Game 7 will see back to back Cy Young winner Stephen Gonsalves try to complete the three peat for the White Sox.

**what a way to end this franchise. This is our most competitive world series after I believe we swept the Phillies in 2022 and beat the Dodgers 4-1 in the 2023 WS. I'll likely start new with MLB 20 for the reasons CB is starting new plus I've bought budget with stubs in this franchise which likely led me to being able to build this power house White Sox team. I probably wont be playing with the Sox in 20 and I hate to lose what I have built but am excited for something new. Aside from the reasons I stated above, I'd like to have the young stars in my franchise like Juan Soto who I'm currently battling in this series...in my franchise he is a string bean and I dunno if models get updated in carry overs and the Mets very own Pete Alonso hasnt even made it out of the minors yet. I'll play game 7 tomorrow night after work.

***edit i see that CB fixed his issue and will be continuing his franchise. That's awesome but I likely cant figure out what he did...plus my other issues I have with my franchise will likely lead to a fresh start still.

2026 White Sox Franchise - Off season

Just a small update.

Wasn't a lot of moves in the off season. There was a couple big Free Agent signings around the league.

Andrelton Simmons going to the St Louis Cardinals on a 2 yr deal and Kyle Schwarber to the Minnesota Twins on a 6 yr deal.

Simmons will sure up the middle of the infield for the Cardinals coming off a Wild Card berth in the 2026 season.

Schwarber, coming off a 41 HR season in his only year in Kansas City, will be a big addition to the middle of the Twins lineup. Twins look to be trying to get back into the playoffs in 2027 after barely missing out in 2026 by 2 games and after going under .500 in 2025.

Well now its time to wait to Friday for MLB 20.

White Sox win series 4-3

White Sox win third consecutive World Series Title

The Chicago White Sox and New York Mets played a game seven to remember. It was a cold rainy night in Chicago which luckily saw no delays due to the weather.

The game was a back and forth battle throughout which ended in celebration for the home crowd as Yoan Moncada hit a two run walk off homer in the bottom of the 11th inning.

Stephen Gonsalves had glimpses of his Cy Young award winning season as he struck out the side in back to back innings (3rd and 4th). His pitch count had climbed fairly high for so early in the game and by the time he finish the 5th, he was past 80 pitches and was showing signs of fatigue. When he left the game, the Sox were leading 3-2

The Mets would score one in the 6th inning to tie the game at 3 however, the White Sox would score three more runs to take the 6-3 lead.

Fast forward to the 9th inning and Ronny Spence came in to close out the victory for the White Sox. The Mets had other plans and would score three runs in the inning to take the 8-7 lead.

In the bottom half of the inning, the White Sox were down to there last out but Mets closer Zach Wheeler blew his save opportunity as well when Vladimir Guerrero JR hit a ball out over the right centerfield wall.

This epic game then went to extra innings and was closed out by Moncada's two run shot in the 11th inning.


**I hate doing updates the day after cause I forget the specifics about the game. Either way this was an awesome game and i had a ton of fun. At this point i am still undecided in regards to continuing this franchise or starting 20 fresh. If i do move on, , this has been the most fun I've had with a franchise on any sports game in a while...probably since NCAA 14. Anyway...see yall on friday when 20 drops!

Hi, first time posting because I never had trouble with the game until now..
I enjoy playing MLB the show 19 and I play the franchise mode with the Yankees. After successfully completing two franchise seasons and my third preseason I tried to start the regular season and after trying to click OK and the system freezes.
I restarted the game and I get the same thing. I restarted PS4 where this is being played and I get the same thing. Last thing I did was I unplugged PS4 and restarted it all over again and I get stuck at the same spot which is trying to start a new season after the preseason. Just can seem to be able to click OK to proceed.
Again I played two seasons without any problems and I started third season three season completed that and that’s where I get stuck. Please let me know if there’s a way that This can be fixed because I do not want to lose my data and all the new and old players I have saved. I have the data all saved up until the first game of the new season uploaded to cloud also.

Try deleting the game data and reloading on the PS4.

Be sure to back up your save files just in case.
