It's possible they can't fix it without some major work. Every year when they are discussing a new version they mention, we knew about such and such problem and wanted to fix it, but we were unable to fix it in the past version. They never said that before the new version was being plugged so more than likely they won't say they can't fix it till next version in this case either.

Re: Pitchers as DH in franchise?? Why
Is it just one player on each team you are seeing it with? Like with the twins it's always Gonsavles for me. I swapped all his info with a different player that's in the field. I haven't had an issue with him since. I believe it's a roster spot that mimics Ohtani on each team. You just need to find which one it is and swap all of that players information. I could be wrong but seemed to work with my small sample size.

Swap all of their information? I'm not sure what you are taking about when you say this. How does one "swap information" between players.

Re: Pitchers as DH in franchise?? Why
The only way to get their attention is to tweet SDS directly. They do read them. I know because I was surprised to find Ramone had blocked me even though I’ve never even tweeted him. So there’s clearly no guarantee that tweeting them would work, just that they read them.Comment

Re: Pitchers as DH in franchise?? Why
FWIW, on my AAA team Thomas Szapucki is the culprit. However, if I replace him in the rotation with Zack Littell, then Zack starts playing DH. So I seem to have at least two Ohtani wannabes in my organization.Comment

So should fielders belong in the HOF even though they cannot pitch?

Re: Pitchers as DH in franchise?? Why
Also, its that they cant play the field, its that their manager has chosen they DH. How is that the fault of the player? Anyone can play 1B.
This argument is odd to me because it doesn’t actually put a value on defense, as how good they are at playing it isnt even considered, but places a value on whether or not they physically went out into the field and took up space.
Basically the worst fielder in the history of baseball could potentially make the HOF, but the greatest hitter ever could not if he was a DH? Thats your argument essentially right?
I understand your argument, as it is held by others, but i just think it is shortsighted and comes from faulty or biased logic.
