I returned Spider-Man when it came with my PS5 bundle. They only give you pennies on the dollar. I took it as my time was worth more than the hassle of selling 3rd party.

I’m with you dude. I always point to how Madden still can’t get their preseason schedule to rotate. And not just in-game, but over consecutive iterations of Madden I’m playing the same ******* preseason schedule. That’s every bit as bad as this, and from a bigger franchise. I have no problem believing that it’s not something they can just fix, if they could they would have a long time ago.

Frankly I don’t even like inter-league play anyway so I don’t really have a dog in the fight. Would rather they work at some kind of custom schedule feature at this point anyway since this is apparently never coming.

What's especially bad about Madden is that they had the option to choose pre-season opponents at one time, and TOOK IT OUT. At least the Show never took anything out (except Y2Y Saves, and SOTS, and...)

I believe I am the guy to blame for the bird idea....little did I know that they would get their inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock's film The Birds.

I know we can't transfer our created players from 20 to 21 game but having a difficult time transferring my created legends form 20 to PS5 Machine so I can play the show 20 with my created players on my new machine.
Is it possible?

Those of you the play Franchise and Diamond Dynasty:

How do you guys get out of the hyper competitive mindset when shifting from Diamond Dynast to Franchise? I play with Strike Zone camera and all the "competitive settings" applied.

What settings do you use to offer the best simulation Franchise gameplay? Broadcast camera? Directional hitting? Pulse pitching? Just want to open the discussion and pick your guys' brains that play both Franchise and Diamond Dynasty (I am primarily a Franchise guy that dove into Diamond Dynasty this year). Obviously the primary goal is to have the player ratings determine outcomes the large majority of the time.

Yea I play franchise mode with simulation gameplay style, visual aids off, pinpoint pitching, directional hitting and buttons throwing.

When online I play competitive style, visual aids on(like strike zone, pitching ball marker, feedback), pure analog pitching, zone hitting and buttons throwing.

I've played online with my franchise settings but rather not haha

No, that's not what we are discussing. They should have taken the game back and given you the full amount for the game. You traded it in. That's foolish. You did not return it. Return as in he shows the receipt and they give him the $70 or whatever the game is worth brand new. As long as he doesn't open it and has the receipt, a lot of Gamestops will take the game back and give you your money back.

No, that's not what we are discussing. They should have taken the game back and given you the full amount for the game. You traded it in. That's foolish. You did not return it. Return as in he shows the receipt and they give him the $70 or whatever the game is worth brand new. As long as he doesn't open it and has the receipt, a lot of Gamestops will take the game back and give you your money back.

The console, controller, and game are all separate on the receipt/invoice and are even being shipped separately so I'm thinking that should mean I should be able to exchange out the game for something else. I don't really care about the $70 if I could, say, exchange it for like two games instead or maybe get that new Returnal game if it doesn't suck.


I'm just absolutely loving MLB The Show 20 on my PS5, though, so I just don't see the point of paying $70 for the next-gen version that doesn't really look "next-gen". I'll keep my eyes out for an All-Star Weekend sale later on in case it drops to like half off or something, though.

Did the game take out the option to see your personal all-time stats of all of your games played, such as your all-time BA, ERA and the like? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
