I apologize if this was answered in the thread already but I was wondering if anyone knows when they put out their roster updates? I notice that the Red Sox do not have Sawamura in the bullpen at launch. I was expecting it since he was not in the MLB/MILB last year but I don't want to start a franchise until we have a good update roster. If anyone knows a good roster set in the vault too I would appreciate it.

Even the vault does not work properly, so it is going to be some time

Has anyone else felt the game is choppy this year or in the past? My TV is set to game mode but it feels anything but smooth. Like when I use the pitching meter, it allows me to “power up” but then sort of glitches on the way back, so it’s tough to make a perfect pitch. Same thing with hitting, where it’s tough to judge pitches because it glitches as the pitch comes in.

I bought the Xbox One version this year, but it’s felt choppy on my ps4 in the past.

What does filling the meter do for breaking balls? Fastballs have more velocity I know that but do breaking balls have more movement if I fill up the meter???

I'm on XBX first time playing and I'm liking so far playing Road to Glory and it seems like it will take forever to build your stats in this game. Other than playing good are there other things to do to build stats? I've done some practice.

Would it be better to create a player, go into Franchise mode and player lock?

Those of you the play Franchise and Diamond Dynasty:

How do you guys get out of the hyper competitive mindset when shifting from Diamond Dynast to Franchise? I play with Strike Zone camera and all the "competitive settings" applied.

What settings do you use to offer the best simulation Franchise gameplay? Broadcast camera? Directional hitting? Pulse pitching? Just want to open the discussion and pick your guys' brains that play both Franchise and Diamond Dynasty (I am primarily a Franchise guy that dove into Diamond Dynasty this year). Obviously the primary goal is to have the player ratings determine outcomes the large majority of the time.

Not that I have seen, but this is something that should be possible in next gen where each player wears a team uniform in HR Derby and All Star Game.

I play DD the same way I play franchise mode. Clean screen w/ vibration off, directional/classic, auto fielding. It works beautifully whether playing in competitive mode or in simulation mode. Just because I am playing DD, I see absolutely no reason to change how I want to play the game.

Rosters will take a lot longer than last year to materialize thanks to no year to year saves. Before roster makers could prepare in the previous year's iteration before the new version launched. Now they have to build from scratch after launch.

This also has driven a few roster makers away.
