I play a franchise with the giants in the show 21 and cannot choose the MLB Network Broadcast. Why? Thanks for help!

That's not a glitch. You hit the button to turn the grid on. You can toggle it on and off.

Even as a player, I was never shy about swinging at the first pitch if it was a good one. So, I'll never totally give it up. But two things that help me:

          1. Don't be a "strike detector" - meaning, don't swing just because you think the pitch is a strike. Taking a strike that would otherwise result in a weak out just means you're increasing the odds that you'll get a better pitch coming up.

          2. Set a goal on opponent pitch count. I want the other pitcher to have to throw at least 10 pitches every inning, so I can get into the bullpen. Having that in mind forces me to step back if I'm getting a little too antsy.

Worst case - put the controller down and take a sip of water or something. Override your impulse control.

Yea I was getting too swing happy lately. Dead last in walks in my franchise. So the last two games I said I’m going to be more patient. I drew 7 walks in each game and got to the BP by the 5th inning. I use dynamic and this was on HOF level and no quick counts.

I know it’s been discussed many times but has anyone come across any trick to turn off the hr camera? Is there any hitting camera that disables it? I really hate it!

Anyone know of someone that is creating some of the top NPB & KBO player CAPs to be downloaded in the player vault? Well of course whenever SDS decides to fix the slow moving, pretty much impossible vault. I like to add these guys to my roster every year. Thank you in advance.

If I'm not mistaken, directional depends highly on the hitters contact and vision ratings. So, a more simulation style of playing. Its what I use every year for franchise for that reason.

Directional to let ratings play a bigger part. We already sabotage the stats playing every at bat lol

Forgive me if this has been asked before. I just got the game today and noticed that with API set to “default” the pitch location and selection does not appear when I press R2. Is this a glitch or was it changed this year? I have used API default for the past 4 years so this is perplexing.

Default means off for all star or higher pitching difficulty. If you want it to show, change it to on and it should. If it is on and not showing up, I don't know. I leave it off because I hate that glove.

Default means it’s not automatic for All Star or higher but it’s supposed to still be available if you press R2. However it does not show up when I press R2. It even says in the manual to press R2 on default for All Star or higher. It has to be a glitch I can’t figure any other explanation.

Agreed. The catcher's mit never showed up until I turned it 'on'.
