The hit variety in this game is the best the series has ever offered.

I've only played a few games and my impressions are that while it's a good game, and for sure, "the best," baseball game ever in terms of gameplay, man, it's just stale for me.

The new commentary is nice but after just a few games its old, and it will likely be far more repetitive that Matt & Co. from years past. The aging textures on the grass, stadiums and skyline are just compete eyesores. I really want to be into it, and I'll probably play it a little more but as far as getting through a season or two, I'm just not sure it's possible for me.

Add on top of it that the new playoff system is not in and it's just a lot for me to swallow. I read a lot about the new presentation and while yeah, it's new, it does not blow me away by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe I've just played The Show too much over the last decade or so, but I'm just bored with it after a few games. I can remember in years past playing it out of the box and being super excited about starting a franchise. It's just not there for me anymore.

At least Starfield comes out this year.

This happens to me about 3 to 4 times a game on average. I have throw meter off using analog input and offline throws happen throwing to first. They also happen when throwing to 2nd when trying to turn a double play. It's happened when my pitcher lobbed a throw to first and somehow that went offline. Doesn't matter if the baserunner is slow or if it is a routine play, there will always be random offline throws at some point in almost every game i play. I had one game my 2nd baseman threw offline to first 5 times. Also throws to the cutoff man are almost always offline.

I think it was a rule change just made a few weeks ago? Perhaps they can patch it in and are working on it? Hopefully.

All valid but how would the new playoff system possibly be in given the timing?

I wonder if that’s something they can patch in? Probably too tough to do?

I just simply don't believe that it can't be updated. With the things developers can do now, it honestly seems rather simple compared to other things developers do via update. And yes, yes, I'm not a developer, but I've played plenty of video games. Look at Cyberpunk. That game was not good when it came out, but now with tons of updates and patches, its much more on par with where it should have been.

I stand by this... if it was a feature that affected Diamond Dynasty, they'd patch/update it.

When did they ever say they wouldn't patch it in?

To my knowledge they haven't said anything in regard to it other than they are continuing to look at the new CBA rules and discussing them.

That’s just the common response. That they’re notable to.

No offense, but this is going nowhere. You are firm in your opinion that they just aren’t going to please you, or are incapable. Move on.
